Im 28yrs old now,I got polio in 2010 when I was doing grade 7..my mother didn't immunise me well when I was under 5..so I got polio in 2010, when I was 17 years old.. I really regret now that why should my mother immunised me well.. My right leg is getting smaller now. I confirm that it's a polio😢💔😭😭😔😔😭

My eight year old daughter has a bad case of toe walking, and will be having an MRI and an EMG in a few weeks to try and learn if there might be some underlying cause like CP. Most of the things I’ve seen on the internet about CP are about children with very poor muscle tone instead of tight like you say Emily has. My daughter also has very tight muscles and tendons, especially in her legs and feet. I really appreciate this video which shows another side of CP. I also want to mention to you, that since Naomi will soon be wearing AFOs, I’ve been searching for good shoes for her to wear with them, and have found a company called Billy Footwear which looks very promising. Maybe someone here would benefit from them too.

I love how quickly and easily PC is being corrected. I’ve been searching everyone online for similar experiences and story’s to mine to get that feeling of not being alone but everything I come across seems pretty mild, I don’t mean any disrespect by that cos I know how mentally damaging living with PC is no matter how mild or bad it is. Just wondering if there are others that aren’t being fixed or can’t be fixed and how they come to accept living with it and whether they go on to live a normal social life? I tried a couple of these yoga positions but I’ve given myself chest tightness trying them where I can only have about half the lung capacity on the left side as I normally would have, this is pretty common for me and clears up within a few days sometimes over night, even simple things like washing hair or putting shoes on can cause this same pain when breathing in. Anyway great video, I admire how much your both helping people fix and overcome PC. Keep it up. 👍

What the two of you are doing is amazing. I’ve been struggling with drug and alcohol abuse for 17 years because of PC and am nearly 31 now. So happy your turning your life around. Just started my own journey 2 weeks ago but pretty sure my chest is too much of a mess to fix. Joined a gym to try and build chest and abs to cover PC but unfortunately there’s a big what I call a dent on left side of my ribs which building muscle will probs make look worse but I’ll give it a go. Only had a couple relapses with bad habits in last 2 weeks but am fully committed to recovery. Really hope you can reach lots of young people before they screw their life’s up. Keep it up. 👍

I’m 21 years old, and I have grown up with pectus carinatum all my life and have not felt self conscious about it once, in fact, people don’t notice until I point it out. The cool thing about it is that I can move my sternum and it’s a really neat party trick! Maybe my case is lighter than most but I still don’t feel inhibited in my Daly life because of my PC
