Generally, the people in Tent City just don't like to go to the Shelter because mainly of the rules placed there and also at Grace Place and the Salvation Army. Thank you for your response!

People love and hate this video, it has much traffic. I do other vids of Thunder Bay also, for those who comment that Thunder Bay is not all like this. However, not nice knowing your foot is in bad condition while the rest of you is fine. It is all our doing, Thunder Bay in the whole has some challenges to overcome.

@prestoncreates it's a real shame to see what's happening to our city and to the country in general. We have so much potential and the only way things can get better is with REAL treatment and help for the people suffering addiction and homelessness. Here's hoping some REAL change comes our way once Trudeau and his criminal cabinet is out of office. I hang the highest of hopes that Pierre Pollivere is genuine and will do the things he says he will. Without those necessary changes in our society and economy, we are surely doomed to only get worse. Here's to hope 🙏 🤞

Thanks for commenting! Yes, the harm reduction idealism is something I took part of for a while. I didn't approve of it and felt it did more harm than good. It is more virtue and I believe is a racket. Needles are everywhere for many many years and now you must teach children about the sharpies. Drew Street School looks like a wonderful building, always wanted to see it from the inside. You inspired me, I will make an effort to go see it. Thanks again for commenting!

Thunder Bay is very adventurous and scenic place to grow up! I loved it here myself and had so many adventures. Now I am much older than many now and experienced many days with many children playing 500 up or hide and go seek with 60 to a hundred kids. Those days have been long gone, wish children could experience the political spectrum of children of such group sizes conducting complex games of grandeur. It was an adventure going out to the park everyday! Thank you for sharing your memories, not many understand the greatness of Thunder Bay and it's many fasciitis.

This is not all of Thunder Bay. You may enjoy the other videos I made of the area to see the rest. Sometimes I find the people in the worst areas are the most real and genuine also. All is vanity under the sun, there is beauty everywhere if you look for it. I thank you for your comment. I do understand what you mean, I also remember nicer times especially in the downtown cores.

I dont know about that the population was 115 000 for decades and it really hasnt changed much its a little smaller.

Mandarin has been there for a long time, amazing! Although, l wonder if under proper direction if they changed their stance and operated in another environment and had better marketing how they would do, where would they be? Do you think they used all their skills, resources, and mindsets appropriately for best results? I believe they could have done much better if they decided to make business in a better location and grew their ideas in a programable model.

i was like wow. they make great food and since moving to calgary. you cant find any good chinese here. everyone is cheap and making crap food and charging too much. i miss this about thunder bay. great food industry. mandarin is amazing and still operating. i moved away in 2005.

Yes! I do remember it well. I was part of that environment and many small businesses were serving the public. There has been many changes, mainly for larger and bigger corporations that work well and directly with the government. I remember when Pier Trudeau was against small business at that time and wish them all gone, well now we know what happens. Before you were luck if you could do business after 1pm on Saturdays and forget about Sundays . Business people were busy with society doing events with their families at those times. Today that is all gone except for a very few and precious survivors. We are now more of a secular material world that serves our every want and desire accept a real connection to family and society as a whole. It is what we desired that took place, it is the lack of empathy and the need for entertainment and desire to have more. I believe we lost what truly matters. Time and commitment to what what matters to ones who care for one another, the simple things like going for picnics on a Sunday with our family, friends and neighbors. We traded everything for a lower price than we thought.

Ads, generated trends, easy to get credit cards, heck dont even need to go to the bank before it closes because you're short of physical cash. Heck, dont even need to leave the pc/phone to go shopping now !

Channel integration with the community ensures the inherent value of the channel itself, as it is heart n beat and life blood of the channel at it's core. The challenges of the CZcams algorithm presents it, but it also presents great opportunity. But if i make a suggestion please cover more content on helping the people in poverty as that was some amazing freelance work. Ever here of Steve Wallis? the CZcams stealth camper? You should try out a stealth camping video and maybe raise money to help out people by doing twenty four hours camping someplace where nobody would suspect there is a guy cooking and camping like in a secluded spot behind a Metro or an Arby's lol and then crowdfund it. Thunder Bay has loads of places to stealth camp and use bushcraft and survival techniques as that is one of my favorite hobbies is bushcraft.

@@brolydictcumberbatchmontou401 Thanks again for your interest! I watched your eclipse video as well and found it fun! I did the homeless thing in Thunder Bay mainly to understand. I also spent time working at a shelter right after. I have also had meetings with the mayor and tried to improve and understand the whole social dynamics. It takes a lot of time and in many ways it is deflating. My wife and I watched Steve Wallis for years and yes he does get a lot of views, too bad for his wife and crazy neighbor. I could just set up tent where the homeless are, could set up the shelter. I made it so it can set up in a few minutes. I have so much footage I have not edited at all, sometimes I just lose the joy in a subject. I have to motivate myself at times to do all the editing. I mainly create for fun and if it isn't, I don't. I am glad that you enjoyed the adventures. If you would like to do a video at any time, let me know. I grew up here and mostly it was good, then things changed. I suppose I can take the time and pinpoint exactly what happened, however, we all know the score, we all know what we choose to ignore. We lost the connection to our own place, we choose to trade it in for a cheaper ideology. I suppose we have all traded something meaningful for something that will do for now.

I suppose so, although, I believe most people are pretty good and friendly. Often I find people very welcoming and happy if you are that way as well. Generally if you are smiling the whole world will smile with you.

@@prestoncreates Sorry police statistics find Thunder Bay to be dangerous for crime. I don't care if it is located on a nice great lake.It's the attitude of hillbillies that sit around the table laughing at native people and thinking it's funny to kill them. I wouldn't let my dog visit Thunder Bay until the people are educated and civilized and come out of the dark ages. I have a carreer in Behavioural science and 2 years of Police Training in Sudbury at Cambrian College.

Sorry for taking so long to respond. Some of your members wanted to monitor what I put out on video before I post anything because they didn't want the wrong message to be put out in public. They want to critique the process so I didn't post due to the added complexities of creating the video.

@@beechcumber8754 The fires last year and early this year, I am not certain, however, I understand the controversy. I suppose no one can be certain for sure except for the ones who lite them or study them. I do understand that governments like to use unknowable scenarios and use them for leverage to implement certain policies or to control a narrative. Climate change is good for that because you can champagne on the fight and no one will ever know if you are doing a good job or a bad job during or after. The "Pandemic" was a great example as well. I can't wait till they come up with the cure for the boogie man that lies under all our beds that torment us from a very young age. We can get all sorts of studies and then if you don't believe in the boogie man, you are a science denier. We will be required to make studies and raise taxes because of such a boogie man exists and each election the boogie man will be used as a narrative to elect a certain party. We must rid Canadians of the boogie man and if we don't it will cause distress to all Canadians. Forest fires may be necessary because we fight them all the time and because we do, the undergrowth gets bigger and bigger and then has more potential for fire. We also know that fire fighters in the forest that are not at work have a saying, if you can't fight them, light them. So I suppose it is a good thing you believe in Jesus, it is the only benchmark for truth in this world and you will constantly feel that you are being had by the devil because that is his nature and the world is in his lap and we benefit greatly with all our worldly wants when we follow his narrative. Politics, forest fires, viruses, pride, blm, lgbtq, ford vs Chevy, anything that we feel is so important isn't really, the reality is that the secular world will still have problems when we are gone and we will never be satisfied with our outcomes. Vanity, all is vanity under the sun.

You are correct with the whole development of the downtown sector of Thunder Bay. It is mainly becoming a social service hub where homelessness is high considering many of the buildings are used for that reason.

I agree, such a different way of building them, I am not sure if we improved much over time, for sure not in style and simplicity.

Ok, however, you do understand that Thunder Bay should be looked at as a whole. If you were injured or sick, say your foot was hurt or infected, you wouldn't just focus on everything else and ignore your foot for the rest of your life. In fact, your foot would demand you to look after it or else it would effect your entire body and eventually your life and even ones you love.

Our government want's it this way, it is by design. It has been on a downgrade since the early 80's. Pierre Elliot Trudeau, the Prime minister of Canada Then hated small business and did what he could to destroy it, now his son is in office finishing the job. It is easy to rule when you concentrate on the takers and give to them and take from the givers, then you become a dictator and make people do what you want through handouts. I believe that is what is happening now. The great reset of the WEF. Why the heck would Finland Join NATO? You know you were in a good trade deal if you didn't. That is an excellent question! Obvious answer is neglect. How, I suppose it is when we started with large box stores and price mattered more than spending time and knowing people in your community. Good thing is that we get cheap stuff now, bad thing is, our thoughts and memories are just the same. Quick deals and quick fixes. We lost the way of time and commitment with others, the true meaning of love.

This one particular video is of Downtown Thunder Bay Fort William, as you know. Note, not the whole city is this way, however, I do believe the City Government did help this to happen by neglecting and undermining the whole area and placing their primary directives where larger investors wanted. Small business areas all lost out to this in my opinion is obvious. The social parts is that we can not get proper justice with law enforcement and there are no repercussions with crime and or drug distributions causing this downward spiral. This is legal and illegal drugs and believe it or not, most of this is from the top down. Healthcare and pharma plays a very big role in this downward spiral, I have many videos showing the distribution of drugs and the way they are cut and distributed to the streets under the ideology of healthcare and good intentions. This is certainly a planned and organized situation done by our own government and can be seen across Canada, United States, and Europe. I believe it is a well orchestrated plan to destroy our original ethics and morals of a grand society that will be just a distant memory in a decade or two. It has been implemented for decades and we are at the very point of no return. A new world order is coming and they have all the pieces in line.

Then brought in allot of new canadians and completely destroyed the housing market. There was barely enough room for the people that were here already, Tent cities were not a thing before 2020.
