Most common complaint of DCT being a lag when pulling away from a stop or while traveling at low speed and also when you need a gear other than the one preselected by the transmission. When I checked with dealer consultants, they mentioned that this issue occurs when people apply the brakes while keeping the transmission in Drive mode during traffic or other idle situations. They suggested that this problem can be prevented by shifting it into Park mode. Do you have any comments or insights on this matter?

Use the recirculation mode wisely. The recirculation mode is helpful in quickly cooling or heating the air inside the car, especially in extreme weather conditions. However, it's essential to use this mode judiciously, as using it for extended periods can lead to stale air and potential fogging on the windows. Regularly clean and replace air filters. Be mindful of the rear-seat passengers and Ensure that the settings are adjusted appropriately to keep everyone comfortable. Setting the temperature too high or too low compared to the outside temperature can put unnecessary strain on the climate control system and impact fuel efficiency. Don't set the temperature too low. This can cause condensation to form on the windows, which can impair your visibility. A good rule of thumb is to set the temperature 5-10 degrees cooler than the outside temperature. Don't leave the AC on when you're not in the car. This can waste fuel and damage the compressor. If you're driving with passengers, ask them to set their own desired temperatures. If you're driving in hot weather, it's a good idea to open the windows for a few minutes before turning on the AC. This will help to remove the hot air from the car and make the AC more efficient. If you're driving in cold weather, it's a good idea to preheat the car before getting in. This will help to warm up the interior and make it more comfortable.

Dear Jayaraman, I am using PNG at my home for the last 6 months. My monthly bill comes to half of of what I used to pay for LPG. I can prove the same with documents.

@@KNOWMOREWITHMOHANMENON Thanks. I had contacted a few of my friends and they gave me this feedback. One person had shared with me his bills too. Since the PNG is not sold on MMBTU and the composition can vary to a large extent the actual calorific value of the fuel is not constant. The customer can be fooled very easily. We had conducted a survey recently among Auto drivers and they also shared the feedback that the converting to CNG has caused them huge loss. I did not opt for PNG when they approached me as there is no clear information on the cost, there are many hidden costs like initial deposit , fixed charges etc. LPG is supplied by PSUs whom I trust more than the PNG supplier who has a very bad repute

Thanks. Just as a feedback to yo, All the flats in our Apartment in Kochi are very happy with the PNG prices. Also we had a satisfactory experience in the BPCL colony in Mumbai. I think, The Indian Oil Adani Gas Private Ltd (IOAGPL), the implementing agency of the city gas project in Kochi Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL), one of the largest city gas distribution companies in India is promoted by GAIL who provided the same to me in Mumbai. PSU's including Bharat Petroleum participates in CGD bidding rounds through its wholly-owned subsidiary Bharat Gas Resources Limited (BGRL) and in association with JV companies. 🙏

@@KNOWMOREWITHMOHANMENON Ok. I will check once again. I wont promote it any more as we are planning to be carbon neutral by 2040 . There is no need to bring in another fossil fuel and that too with high Methane content which is having much higher global warming potential. The name Adani , even with IOCL, is a dirty spot for me
