I always thought of backcapping as the specific situation in which you’re on last the moment that the previous point is captured. I never considered backcapping to be “the defending team has held the final point for x minutes and eventually overextended, leading to one person sneaking past and getting a cheeky capture”. It has to be immediate.

I have once backcapped as heavy, i did no dmg that round i just ran around with the fists of steel or whatever they are called.

The fact that you can instantly start capping as soon as you begin uncloaking... And on payload maps the enemy isn't even noticed by the announcer, unlike cp maps.

This is why you dont overextended people :)

one time i was left alone as a medic on the 2nd floor on blu side on upward last team on bottom floor almost caps i jump on the cart and cap luckily MEDIC GAMING

typical Scout players, adrenaline rush was so high their aim from A to B were cocaine rough but on point lmao.

I remember winning a match by just powering through as soldier with a quickfix medic doing a rollout I madeup on the fly and somehow evading 3 snipers to backcap and got almost there. Distracted whole enemy team so that my teamates could wipe em out and cap.

Lemme tell you a lil secret: If you want to fight in the air without having the knockback screw you over, use the first shell to do the Force-a-Nature jump and keep your second jump to dodge incoming fire. The motto is: One shell at a time.
