This is a visual mosaic of my journey filming for Dreaming Into Blue, with images from The Sea of Cortez, Hawaii, the Bahamas and Florida. You will also hear a return of the Dreaming Into Blur - Trio theme. My daughter, Katherine, wrote and recited the poem at the beginning of the piece. It was a joyous all hands on deck event with the marvelous Loft Studio musicians.

In The Beginning is the next movement from Dreaming Into Blue Project. This is a dreamlike look at Hawaii underwater and on the surface, with a music score that follows each change in mood.
Dance In Deep Blue

Dance In Deep Blue shows Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles as small parasites were removed at this "cleaning station" by Cleaner Wrasses. My favorite Loft musicians played on this one. Neal Lucas is on guitar.
Conversations #2

Conversations #2 is a piano improv I did at The Loft Recording Studio in Columbus Georgia around 2008. The idea was to have some music in the Dreaming Into Blue soundtrack that would contrast with the full band stuff. Most of these black and white images were shot in The Sea of Cortez, Mexico.
At Depth, from Dreaming Into Blue

The first part of At Depth was shot on the Silver bank, just North of the Dominican republic. These are Humpback whales who come here to have their babies. The second part are Atlantic Spotted Dolphins, shot on the Silver Bank, near Bimini Bahamas.

Blu'esque is the next movement in Dreaming Into Blue. It was shot in the Sea of Cotez with California Sea lions.

All the footage in this movement is of Atlantic Spotted Dolphins shot in the Bahamas. The encounters with these amazing creatures only happen when the dolphins decide they will. And when they do, it's magic.
Dreaming Into Blue Trio

In this video my daughter Katherine is swimming with some very attentive Bottlenose Dolphins in Cozumel. It was on her ninth birthday. The encounter was playful, beautiful and intimate. I chose this footage to go with the first movement, Dreaming Into Blue Trio. This melodic idea returns in the last movement but in a triumphant and celebrative context.

I just pray this video will bless you as much as it did me. I have been mom's caregiver for almost 6 years now and it has been challenging and most rewarding. I have never written a song before but it has always been a desire for me. On November 4, 2017 I began to hear the words to this song and on December 9, 2017 I heard the tune....my husband & I recorded it January 4, 2018 at The Loft in Columbus, GA and then did the video in March. Everyone in the video is my mothers' children, grand children or great grandchildren....they all did an amazing job! A special thanks to each of the musicians and the beautiful job they did, Jessie Shelby, Neal Lucas, Lloyd Buchanan what amazing guys!!! Don Tipton completed the journey with this beautiful video!!! A very thankful heart to my Lord, Jesus Christ for helping me hear these words and giving me such a special gift!!
