i came across this movie on cable in the late 1990s, and it became an obsession.i must have watched it 25-30 times. it's so odd and captivating. the cast is perfect. i'm glad johnny holds it so dear,and doesn't think of it as just another job.

A masterful film but it was only tommy lee jones who took this conference and the book seriously..The interviewer never addressed him but his answer at the end and performance were the heart of the film as well as the book..

A film thats truly a masterpiece. Perfection in every aspect, dialogue, soundtrack cast, dialogue and so much more. Johnny Depp, and Christan Bale absolutely nailed their roles, and a special mention to Crudup who plays Hoover, and Marion who plays Billie, such an amazing influence, and performance. Although the film never claims to be based on a true story, it truly showed the whole Dilliginer era well, and effective, as expected by Micheal Mann. Amazes me how underrated the film is, truly never gets the credit it deserves.

Great film, loved the kiss scene ! Will honour and respect Mr. Depp until eternity. This story emulates greed, control, life in small towns, tasting the fine things in life! . This was ironic as a River man simulated a Pirate which brought Johnny to stardom

People want a piece of this man for certain. Gorgeous individual, sure would like to meet him one day! Just listen to the screams of excitement and those paparazzi just admiring but awaiting for a calamity to unfold. Along with signing signature for adorning fans , fans give him gifts only proof of his devoted family base. Love this man those eyes are so alluring.
