You can buy the tiny plastic in any supermarket.

Hindi po mamamatay ang strawberry provided na alalayan niyo sa pagdilig.
@@tam-awanberrygarden Nabanggit niyo na rin po, paano po ba ang tamang pagdidilig? Naihiwalay ko na po yung limang crown ng nabili kong strawberry, kaso yung 3 crown ay tig-iisa lang ang mga ugat at 2 lang ang marami ang ugat.

Years ago I noticed an attack on wild blackberries that grow everywhere here on French Riviera countryside...i remember telling to myself that I needed to come back soon to harvest before spiders finish their job...a week later I was surprised to see that the attack stopped new leaves were intact it was just localised on 3 pairs of leaves...🤔...I witnessed the same thing the year after...huge attack during a week or two then it stopped... Then I get spiders on some plants in my garden...same period as blackberries...I harvested a few leaves from it and I put it in contact with my garden's ones...1 week later no more spiders! Watching nature can be useful...I mean this is how humanity evolved to begin with... Have a lifted one and lots of good vibes from France growers

Does letting plant produce a few runners for more plants hurt fruiting alot ?Say you let 2 runners make roots separate from mother. ?Then cut back all runners after you got a clone or 2 and repeat with clones? Thanks for taking your time to share your knowledge.
If strawberry plants produce runners, it will weaken the plants..you can either let them bears fruit before bearing runners.

removing the first flowers will improve the fruiting process

ang summer princess is vigorous in runners, its advantage on your part kasi pwede mo silang ebenta...bili ka ng tripple 16 na fertilizer pampabunga po iyon then apply it. pag namunga naman sila ay marami ang size ng fruit is small to medium.

It's 'vine weevil'. They are the larvae. The fly eats the leaves, lays its eggs then the larvae eat the roots. Can't be saved really. I've just lost my strawberry plant to these monsters. :(

It's the larvae of the vine weevil. The fly eats the leaves, lays its eggs then the larvae eats the roots. Strawberry plants in pots are one of their favourites. Look up VINE WEEVIL

What is that?
That is a strawberry pest that eats the roots of strawberries that causes them to die.
Those are Grubs… they eat the roots of plants and the plant needs the roots to feed itself and if they are being damaged by grubs it will not continue to get enough nutrients or water to live

We have section of strawberry that are on shade and we have the strawberry section that are direct sunlight and direct rain...the best is shade or greenhouse in a way you the fruits are protected.
