"Hansel and Gretel" is a popular fairy tale collected by the Brothers Grimm. The story follows two siblings, Hansel and Gretel, who are abandoned in the woods by their impoverished parents. The children stumble upon a house made of gingerbread, candy, and other treats, which is actually the home of a wicked witch. The witch lures them in with sweets, but her true intention is to eat them. However, Hansel and Gretel outsmart the witch and manage to escape by tricking her into the oven she intended to use to cook them. They return home with treasures from the witch's house and reunite with their father, living happily ever after.
