Dirty kiwis
Kevin Ward was the best prop in the world at this time
I was at this game and still think that’s the best try I have seen in any final brilliant 😊
Wigan surely the greatest rl team ever
The commentator and interviewer is Keith Macklin.
Let the boys play
Les Boyd... what a grub.(I say that as an Aussie) Just a dirty thug who excels at cheap shots.
Lol, absolutely butchered. Saints fans did it best in '87 against the mighty Fax.
Terry O'Connor commented afterwards that he'd "been hit harder by his mother" Tallis also later admitted he'd picked on the wrong man. These two are best of mates these days.
beltin
And anyone wonders how they put 80 on Bath a few years later
I was there, some of y best memories as a kid were on this ground supporting Wigan. So many greats in that pitch that day, from both sides.
Scunthorpe was the best player internationally for 2 years What a player As good as fitter , Barrett , Lockyer , Anasta , hill
Can anyone tell me who the Aussie commentator is?
Anyone know what channel broadcasted this game?
Total destruction of a top RU side, by a great Wigan RL side 💥
That was a Legendary Wigan side, showcasing their sublime and far superior rugby skills, kicking Bath's ass, big style.
Great to see a Legendary Wigan side kicking the ass of a top RU side at their own game. The total bias towards RU from the commentators was so snobby and disrespectful. It wasn't just that Wigan were fitter, their skills were far, far superior too. The likes of Edwards and Farrell have gone on to share their skills and knowledge to coach the likes of France, Wales and Ireland at the highest level, which in turn has majorly contributed to the vast improvement RU in the northern hemisphere.
Gary Connolly was imperious throughout the tournament.
geeee he LOST the ball.....never wud be given in Australia.
"Giving those Warrington supporters something to shout about," as Wire score yet another consolation try. Something that kept happening for the next 30 years.
Tallis is a fake tough guy. Only started fights with blokes smaller than him or blokes who weren't ready to fight
That pass really really really was forward 😅
Hate Wigan and their obnoxious entitled arrogant “fans”.
Oh dear.
@@davidhart7792 are you reacting to being obnoxious, arrogant and entitled ?
@@onthekippaxsince75 No cock. just to a stupid comment.
@@davidhart7792 anyone bar Wigan
THE UNION BIAS FROM BOTH OFFICIALS AND COMMENTATORS IS EMBARRASSING
What a Wigan team, they did really well against the 8 man union side didn’t they? Whatever happened to them all? They look like they had a future unlike Wasps
You will not hear more biased commentary than this. Terrible
Ray French Loved Wigan. My God so Biased 😐
So good to see the Leeds fans applauding Offiah after that try. Reminds me of the Juventus fans applauding Ronaldo after his bicycle kick goal against them
Tallis is a disgrace ! Look at a great player like the ex All Black Michael Jones he never threw a punch and was a humble awesome guy and twice the rugby player Tallis is
MAURICE AND WESTY,S FACE SAYS IT ALL ! LOOK LIKE THEY SEEN A GHOST! And they wernt on the recieving end ! 😂😂😂From Mr Murphy,s Honest Post Match Review !and His plan for the slight change in The teams work Rota for the following week!😂😂 CV
SHAUN WAYNE LOOKS ABOUT 14 😂😂😂😂😂
A 2 Nill win ,Then 8 CHALLENGE CUPS ,IN A ROW , GOOD OLD JOE LYDON ! A BRILLIANT RUGBY BRAIN AND PLAYER ! enough said!
Chariots Offiah
one of the greatest sportsmen to come out of wales
THIS WIGAN TEAM WAS PROBABLY THE GREATEST TEAM EVER
Terry stood his ground 7 punches on his conk chucking 1 back and Gordon’s nose was just as bad😊
Wigan just the best team in the world in any code in the 90,s without a doubt, Only need to look at a few of the Wigan team that have gone on to transform R,U ,n make it a better game, even now though though a R,L team would beat a R,U team hands down, R,L as moved way ahead,
I'm a bit surprised that it was not switched to Central Park which has undersoil heating with Castleford conceding home advantage to get it played
The crazy thing is Shaun Edwards scored 10 tries in a game as well
Just shows how good are team was
RHYNOOO
Brilliant GB performance. Gregory the architect. Aussies looked shell shocked.
BRING BACK GB AND THE ASHES
A Yorkshire RL fans favourite chant " forward pass"
What a game
How could that last Wigan try be a try? Their player lost the ball FORWARD! The previous try was also mighty dubiouos.
Cassidy was never gonna get that ball down, until SQ turned up!
Yorkshire RL fans favourite chant "forward pass!"
Whos that harpie that keeps screaming!
People forget half of that Wigan team had played proper 7s RL which had pretty much the same laws save for the tackle/ruck/lineout e.g. in 1992 in Australia. It wasn't that alien to them.
