When you download a software it will just go into a certain folder. You should double click it in order to install it.

The simplest way, I tried like now, is to insert a table with 2 columns and 2 rows, and merge the columns from the second row, and drag and drop the images into the cells from the first row. This way, the images will move with the text. And the second row is for text you need.

@@LibreOfficestepbystep I cannot see an Insert --> Table in Writer. Lots of other Insertables like, Table of Contents and Charts etc. But no Insert Table. Where might that be ?

@@LibreOfficestepbystep That works ! I used the TABLE icon on the top tool bar. There is more than one way to use that so I had to just fill in the 2 column and was able to insert image there. THANK YOU ! I wonder why TABLE does not appear under the INSERT tab ?

Maybe, because it's more a "how not to". If we do things wrong, all the data could mix bad.

You need to right-click and Choose NEW, to create a new style, not to rename an existing one. So, it should work for you, also.

From the Navigator on the right, you have in the buttom some options, choose Custom styles, that are the styles you have created, and if there are styles right click on them and Delete.

The orange theme is from the Linux I use. It's not LibreOffice specific. You need to use Linux to get that.

You need to download that font from Internet, install it in your Windows, and LibreOffice can use that font after these steps.

For working with images, you need to play with anchor (right click - properties - image - position and size). There are a lot of options for you.

I don't find it either. This is the reason I always go back to Standard View. I tried other interfaces, but Standard have all you need, at least in the menus. Nothing can replace a Menu view. It's very hard to have icons for so many things LibreOffice can do.

Indeed, there could be other reasons for the document not working. But this was the most common reason.

Check for your distro, maybe there are other method for different linux versions.
