This is a recording of parts 1 and 2 of On Wings of Eagles, most of the commercials have been removed. There is a nice NBC Mini Series opening at the beginning. I am not sure how many parts are in this 4 hour recording - since the commercials were removed it is hard to tell.

Looks like WTNH aired Perry Mason reruns, and based on the closing credits, the episode was the series finale "The Case of the Final Fade Out" with Dick Clark among the guest stars. Also featured as a judge...Earle Stanley Gardner. the creator of the character. Also, I think 'TNH faded out before the Viacom V of Doom logo as Viacom distributed Perry Mason to stations for syndication.
❤❤❤
85 countdown was ok. My sophomore year of college.
I hope y’all will reply to this this was a week and a half after my 17th birthday also Id like to go to Georgia Washington’s home Mount Vernon I’m a history buff in high school I made an A+ in U S History and a B in World and Texas History
Do you have the full broadcast? Or know where I can access it?

@@ntsecrets Awesome! Thank you :D
Great...now how about uploading the ENTIRE episode of Countdown '81??? Thanks.
A CBS show on an ABC station? That's rare to see.
The Listerine commercial used the sound from 60 Minutes on CBS!
Imagine my disappointment when after Fantasy got cancelled, Peter did not do The Match Game-Hollywood Squares Hour. But I understood his reasons.
most of these songs have lived rent free in my mind for many years.
Thanks for the uploading and do you have the two episode of countdown 86?
Not that I know of but if I do I’ll upload it
Love seeing stuff not just commercials that everyone seems to post, thanks!

Turns out it’s WTXX-Tv Waterbury / New Haven
@@ntsecretsThank you for uploading this special "Solid Gold" episode. Is this from your personal videocassette collection that you videotaped? Have you any more episodes of "Solid Gold" that could be uploaded on your CZcams channel? I am a longtime fan of the series, but missed some episodes, this one included. This is the only CZcams channel that has this particular episode. The Exxon commercial with the leaping tiger I recall from that era. That is a treat as well.
@@ntsecretsI know that you wrote that it is not from WPIX 11 New York, but when I shared it to Facebook Messenger, it shows WPIX 11 on the screen. I live in the Los Angeles region on the West Coast, so I am not as familiar with the East Coast television stations and have not ever had cable or satellite television as well.
Great show.
This show was always so cringe. Thank you so much for posting!
6:00 Parkay Margarine Commercial with Parley Baer This commercial for a present margarine brand starring actor Parley Baer back in 1979. First, the bowl said "butter", then he gives the same product fine details. And then, the bowl said "butter" again and does it occasionally until he tasted it. And then he said "butter" right before the bowl says "Parkay."
Thankyou !
Nick Michaels: Tonight on "Friday Night Videos", Lionel Richie. Culture Club. The Cars. The Go-Go's. And 'Weird Al' Yankovic. Alan Parsons Project. Cameo. Ozzy Osbourne. And Paul Young.
This brings back memories! Thank you uploading. Good old channel 11.
The full ABC New Haven/Hartford affiliate sign-off for WTNH can be viewed on 2 separate CZcams Channel accounts, and a reversed full ABC New Haven/Hartford affiliate sign-off for WTNH is available on CZcams at ReversedSignOffandOnsChannel as viewed online. WTNH is now owned by Nexstar Media, Inc. a Nexstar Media Group Company.
The sign-off music is an instrumental cover of “If” by Bread
Most of an episode from this same week, one episode from Fall 1982 taped off GSN in 1994, and the 6/17/1983 episode are on CZcams
NBC would really return to game shows a month later after this episode. That new era would continue to 1991, with a brief return in 1993.
Do you have a vhs tape ?, the full broadcast of New Year's Rockin' Eve on ABC Please ?📼
Unfortunately not that I know of.
@@ntsecrets You don't ?, okay.
One of the last times anyone saw Rolland Smith with a moustache - anyone know when he shaved it off?
I hope y’all will reply to this was that Peter Thomas in the natural gas commercial?????!!!
I would give anything to go back.
Soo cool i was a freshman in 1995
I'd really like to find that WTNH sign off footage, hopefully I do and I will upload to this channel
Geez, what are old VCR's for?
I'm wondering if this comment is a joke or not because it seems like a joke
I turned 14 on this day. Thank you.
the fx were tremendous, 100x better looking than the crap in the comic book movies you see now someone build me a time machine so i can go back to those days...
Commercials were so much fun back then. Now all you get are pharmaceutical advertisements about hiv or herpes.
Any chance I could get the unedited video of this? I have other episodes I can trade. I'd like to do a restoration - but as is, there isn't enough here of the intros, outros, and transitions to work with.
try this s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com/betamax-archive/tape7-fridaynightvideos.mp4
@@ntsecrets Perfect! Thanks so much. Interesting that The Cars video is the version where he pulls his face off at the end, 2 weeks before this episode they aired the alternate ending where he doesn't. I've posted my videos to archive - direct links to that site tend to get blocked here, but a search for Friday Night Videos should find them. Let me know if you need more help finding them.
The 80s. What an incredible decade!
This is a great little time capsule of television. It's interesting to watch the mini documentaries, stingers, news shorts and, of course, the commercials. It's also like a terrible fever dream were you're being constantly promised Star Wars but you never actually get it!
being born in 2002, things from that century look like an entirely different planet. Crazy.
Thank God Disney got a hold of the IP and improved it.🤢🤮
Its so nice seeing attractive people in the commercials. No kool-aid colored hair waman. Not fruity men trying to act like women. And no people with metal shoved in their noses. Plus, people actually dressed like civilized people.
Thanks for this show
Dick Clark RIP
Don't you just miss not having to be aware of everyone's ethnicity? When woke meant just getting up in the morning?
Love looking back into a great past. Thanks for posting!!!
Someone adjust the tracking please
I was 4 years old. Life was so simple.
WOW! It wasn’t on network tv until after Jedi was released theatrically. Really was when network premieres were special. Now a movie is released in theaters and available to watch at home the next day.
When Star Wars was still special and magical. Now it’s nothing more than Disney vomit.
adjust the tracking!
Tracking! Tracking!
7 years after being released in theaters, this was the network television debut. With most people not owning VCR’s (very expensive), this would be the first time they saw Star Wars in 7 years!
