I have a Gamo Black fusion....anyone heard of the black fusion. I have found alot of different ones that suggst the name is always..........fusion this or that. Anyway I bought a can of the gamo lethals.......and pulled off the first shot. We stay in a valley almost... When the shot rang out it echoed right through the entire valley....heard alot of dogs barking for the while then there was silence. Anyone had this happen when you have shot the lethal's or any others??

The thing that most people don't realize is that it shoots most low grain pellets at supersonic speed, like 1300fps with pba platinums. If you shot sub-sonic/high grain pellets like some that're 10+ grain, it's significantly quieter.

I have the Bone Collector in .22 cal. I have a Hawke Airmax scope on it, and it is deadly. I sighted it in at 30yards at one inch over. I am easily taking starlings at 70 yards holding crosshairs on the birds. I sighted it in with PBA Platinum and PBA Raptors. They both shoot great in it. Also discovered Crosman Penetrators shoot great in it too. I also discovered that PBA Platinum won't shoot at the distance I was trying to shoot. I bought some Crosman Premier Hollow Points just for kicks, and they are awesome. They are the pellets that will hit accurate at 70yards with no holdover. I have the mil-dot scope, but that's all new to me and I don't have a range finder. I love my Bone Collector, and would recommend one to anyone.

It's so load bc if it claims it shoots 1300fps that means it breaks the sound barrier so it cracks like that anything that shoots over 1200fps breaks the barrier so that's why

You stocked up on 30,000 pellets? I thought 4000 was plenty! On second thought... If I shot ~20 pellets a week I will need 1040 pellets a year. I hoped you tried out a small sample of pellets first, and then stocked up on the ones that shot accurately out of your rifle ;)

I brought that same air rifle from WalMart with the same pellets. It is really loud and can wake up your neighbors because it actually sounds a little less than a real 22 rifle. However, after I shot it 40 times that loud sound was no longer there. You have to break it in just like any other air rifle which they all have a Break In Point to reduce the noise. But it is powerful air rifle to have in your .177 collection.

The sound isn't really coming from the rifle and it actually sometimes comes from the target that you hit

Your pellets aren't sub sonic so no matter how silenced the gun is it will always be loud

I have one it is a great gun very powerful the scope that came with it is a piece of shit wont shoot a group of more then three shots then it needs to be readjusted and it is very loud i have shot it in many different places so quit trying to discredit this man he is right the gun is loud further more i paid 300 dollar's for mine at Wal-Mart o think i got screwed if it only costs a hundred and fifty else where

I agree with your sound assessment but I must also say that I have found it depends upon the type of pellet you use. My first shot was with one kind of pellet and I thought I was shooting a 22 LF but using a cheaper pellet I have found the noise to be less than annoying when it comes to neighbors. PS I live on two acre lots in the woods so noise is not a real issue as long as it is somewhat quiet and the neighbors do not think you are using their kids for target practice.

It wouldn't be loud if you didn't shoot it inside. So stop saying its so freaking loud.

Do you no whats a sonic boom those pellets break the sound bearer so is more louder so try different pellets ok watch more revise.

its got the 1300 system on it with the suppressor so its been clocked at around 1,000 fps with lead and pbs around 1100 to 1192 fps.

Can i hunt deer with it using the lethal or pba gamo ammo

Look if you want supressed get a tax stamp and buy a can. I bought mine today in case of shtf I will not give my position away while sg hunting. Cant almost buy 22s anymore. This is the next best thing. I will post a video

This rifle is every bit as quiet as they say it is. if youre using pba ammo it will have a crack because your shooting supersonic. but if youre using lead it sounds like youre clapping your hands. it just seems louder to the shooter. F.Y.I your air gun it will always be louder than normal if its not broke in. if noise is an issue, than bring it to a range and put 200-300 rounds through it. You will see the difference.

If you use the Gamo ballistics its not as loud

I shot around 10 on that video , I used a chronograph , the top seed was about 1179 to 1260 thats shooting 20 pellets it never made it to 1300 FPS and if I use led pellets it falls under 1000 FPS. like you said its still a great rifle to have .

How many rounds did you fire through it when you did the video? I first cleaned the barrel and took a shot, it was loud. But subsequent shots got quieter. Heavy pellets are what this gun needs. Its super powerful, 1300 fps is hype, never believe the box, its lightweight, 30#s cocking effort, all around great gun. you stole if for $129. I paid $188 and thought I got a deal! Oh, hollow points a 7.9 grain... and please get used to using your safety after EVERY shot.

the pellets that came with this rifle are the Platnums, which are designed to sustain supersonic flight. which means with those particular pellets, and any other supersonic alloy pellets, it doesn't matter what "noise dampening" devise they install on the gun; you are still going to hear that "crack" that everything makes when it goes supersonic. lead pellets don't go supersonic so, they are what the "noise dampener" is designed around (and yes it does work). no marketing flaws there.

with the platinum gamo pellets the best speeds have been around 1090 fps they claim up to 1300fps not true just like they say its super quit my ass.
