MashaaAllah Pretty good initiative Hope this will go on a long term basis. Few things I would like to penned down regarding the divorce issues in our community are 1.Communication gap between the spouses. Majority of the problems would be likely to be solved if they converse with each other( within the four walls) rather than discussing with their parents or friends or relatives.It would be better if they approach Psychologist or psychotherapist who would maintain the confidentiality. 2.Secondly the major issue is Compatibility. Even though both the spouses have sound knowledge of deen n dunya but they are not compatible enough , the relationship is bound to effect.. So care should be taken before the marriage how compatible are they 3.Thirdly interference of the parents should be welcomed only if they hv a mediocre mindset of advising each others children rather than blindly supporting their own kids or else taking them to a proper Counselling centre. So overall would request intake up this matter on a serious note n form a group ( can bring up all the students of psychology or psychotherapy of kpm under one platform) n work together to bring in the changes. Solutions : Premarital counseling courses to be implemented in higher secondary schools, madrassas n also workshops to be conducted for parents on the basis of Islam n psychology. Starting these courses at this early ages will help the children to be well prepared for their marriage. May Allah swt help n grant us the ability to work as a team for the sake of Him n bring in the changes in our community for the betterment Thanks Fathima Sultan Holistic Health Therapist
