Still, the problem is the location is difficult to get to and will cost more for repair. I had an Acura with over 200k miles on the original thermostat. Uncompleted combustion is caused by missing air, or, too much fuel. Engine is running rich to warm up faster. So, needs to warm up a little to get better compression. Newer engine let glow plugs work even when engine is running on cold on idle for some short period.

the reason is simply a contact of water on the body of the injector, the real question is where this water comes from, the hypotheses are numerous, it could be a presence of water in the oil, or defective cylinder heads, or by condensation caused by overheating and it can also be the result of an inappropriate injection😊

I have 2006 ML320 CDI. I replaced and coded all 6 Injectors due to constant white fog fumes, now I still have white only when I put the car in gear and start driving. After driving for a while, it seems to go away but when i slow down in traffic, it starts to smoke white fumes again.

The hardbody have a mechanical cooling system,while the latest engine have electronic/automatic cooling system The hard body will maintain the normal temperature everytime it get started,which it will give longlife to the pistonrings and sleeves while the latest will have abnormal temperature like the fan will turn on in about 80 to 90degree celcius and stop at about 70degree celcius which led the engine temperature high low high low, which will lead to lost of the strength or quality to the piston ring and sleeves
