And we unironically tell Russia they are the bad guys....
I am a nursing student and seeing this makes me incredible grateful for what I have today
Truman deserves his share of credit.
Getting to serve on one of the battleships in modern times must have been a real honor and coveted position, I imagine the battleship guys get to brag to the destroyer crews about getting to actually fire salvos and pound targets rather than occasionally launching a tomahawk, which the battleship could also do.
Serious question, what sort of distance would the helicopter have been from the bad guys? And would they have known there was a helicopter even there?
bad guys؟ Your country occupied their country and they have the right to defend it. When Russia occupied Ukraine, we saw that all countries stood with it, but why when America occupied Iraq, no one stood with it, let humanity go to hell.
Double standards in the West

This is not entertainment, it is evidence of war crimes. Go home Yanky - Go home!
Amazing to get to see how this whole process works of loading the gun. One month ago I was aboard the Iowa in San Pedro, CA. It looks in very good shape. The Missouri and the Wisconsin were the 2 battleships shooting off the coast of Kuwait in 1991.
Which battleship was this ?

I've never seen the full cycle where the 1st barrel can return to battery right as the last lowers to be reloaded.
Borderline on whether they were initially carrying weapons, but video quality is bad and not representative of what was actually seen by the pilot and co-pilot.

@4:40 this is exactly what the europeans said about American troops during the Civil War, when they were seriously considering intervening. All except one notable leader Napoleon 3. Who is regarded as an idiot but i think he saw into the future and knew that hard soldiers, not professional ones, were the future.
I´m surprised they knew how to build vietnamese style bridges.

My father was a oss aerial photographer out of kandy Ceylon under lord Mountbatten. He wouldn't say anything about what he did over there and the pictures of him I'm khakis with no insignia confused the hell out of me as a typical 60s kid ( what did your daddy do in the war ) I got into his footlocker and found a lot of pictures and a very cool naked lady patch which didn't help much . Notice how quickly they were reloaded. First barrel to fire was at 23 seconds in the daylight portion. Lowered down to reload and was elevated/ready to fire again at 51 seconds. 28 seconds.

Thank you for uploading this presentation as during the war, it is necessary for all hands on deck, especially women were vital back home while men were fighting the war front. I remember my mother used to tell me when shortage of copper material became in short supply, even the house gutter made out of copper were donated for use with war effort.
