Republic Mack LEU McNeilus ZR Side Loader Garbage Truck

Here’s another video of one of Republic’s LEU ZRs that pulls out of the Crestwood, IL shop. I’ve always really liked the look of this combo, and these seem to work pretty well for these routes. Anytime I’m in the area I always try to get video of these, because it’s hard to say how long they will stick around. Republic has been slowly shifting away from ASLs in favor of Curotto’s for residential routes, but Crestwood has still held on to almost all of their ASLs which is great to see in my opinion. Hope you all enjoy this one!

I couldn't imagine marketing these trucks and claiming they are safe to walk or drive by, or have your car parked anywhere near. That sofa could've changed their day for sure. Not a fan of lifting an open garbage bin 12 feet up in the air as traffic is going by. 10:38 that clip is especially funny, how he doesn't achieve hardly anything while almost murdering somebody who's driving by. Statistics is not on your side with that garbage truck model.

Thanks! I do have one video of recycle collection from here with a pretty cool truck to be uploaded at a later date as well, but I don’t want to spoil much more. I’ve still got some older videos with the music to come as well, however I ditched it because I was considering a name change but that hasn’t happened yet 😂
