Anyways if ur suffering from anxiety, try reciting salawat 1000x a day, it takes like 15 mins, and will change your life and rid you of all your illness

So some powerful jinns actually have the ability to affect the material world. Weak ones would just make funny poltergeists in homes. You're right that jinns wouldnt listen to humans, but its only true if there wasnt a contract in place. For example, magicians form contract with jinns in a way that the jinn does favors for them, and the magician would either worship the jinn or provide sacrifice (blood/animals/humans). However in South East Asia, we have a pretty common case of Muslims being followed by lineage jinns, jinns that have been following their family lines for hundreds of years, and these jinns would do favors for them without asking and without sacrifice. These muslims usually have heightened physical strength and the ability to cure illness, but in return they have problems when performing salah (if the jinn is kafir) If the jinn is muslim, then they would face troubles in relationships because jinns are quite jealous of their masters. Sorry for rambling, I'm somewhat of a raaqi and jinns/magic/sihr is my field of study. Allah knows best, and without His permission, the jinns wouldnt be able to move a single atom anyways.
