I've got two Royales, the black one you have there with amber/golden display and green map and a silver one with stainless steel bracelet and gray besel and dial, both are fantastic but, with eight different variants, it's hard to choose between all of them so, a bronze one is on its way to my collection 😂. And I think I'll buy another one, maybe the green one with green fabric bracelet. It's an amazing watch to own.

Yes it’s possible. Use lug width of 16mm for the gmb2100 when selecting which size of replacement strap to order. Note that without adapters or a Casio/gshock specific strap the strap may look small due to the tapering (lug width is only 16mm but strap width above the lugs is 20or 22mm). I’d suggest to check out adapters from “jays and Kay’s” or any other 16mm-to-20/22mm adapter
Which is better, the all black on resin or the silver on bracelet? I like the look of the silver, I’m just worried I will hate the cheap bracelet.
The stainless steel bracelet is definitely a bit noisy/ ‘jingle-jangle-y’ but it is comfortable, and I enjoy wearing it regardless. The all black resin strap versions are classics and extremely light and comfortable, but more casual of course. Would it be your daily beater watch ?
@@videosirecorded I got the black resin one since my post, I really like it, but more for a casual around the house watch. I might get the silver one too, just for variety. They’re so cheap, they are like fun little toys. I work from home more than 50% of the time, so an around the house only watch still gets a LOT of wear time.

Very true about the buttons, I have a gwb5600 and have similar experience with it- usually takes me 2 or 3 tries before I successfully push the button in enough, even longer if I’ve just cut my finger nails 😅 Enjoy your Casios in good health 👍

Thanks for the video. I have the AE-1200-WHD version. I tried wearing it as my daily, but the inside of the bracelet corners are a bit too sharp and starts irritating my arm. So for now I swapped the bracelet with a black Casio strap which is good. Now it is my daily watch again. I did the mod taking the world time and illuminator text off, making it less cluttered and a bit more classier looking.

Lol I have the same exact watch with no strap and still ticking the W800h although mine in nearer 20yrs old on the original battery. It is a bit faded flickery dial digits if you look real close but still going. Absolutely unbelievable battery life.

Love the one with green world map. My favourite is actually not here. Its stainless steel bracelet version but with grey silver case ot black silver. Its a relatively new variant and looks awesome with a Vario strap.
That’s a great option too! Those vario straps are nice. I actually almost got that same grey bezel stainless version instead of this black bezel stainless

The review is about color comparison, interestingly the video has been shot with yellow warm lighting giving the viewer no sense of color variation.

Yup, Seiko’s lume is on another level- lasts longer & stays brighter even after many hours. I can always see the seiko’s lume even when waking up at 5am

Any of those are alright with me big time Casio fan.
Aluminum and bronze versions aren’t available here in India, so I had to order the bronze one (my favorite) from the US. This will accompany my other AE series watches - 1000, 1300, 1400, 1500 and 3000 !! So, if you haven’t yet given away the Aluminum version, I can grab it from both my hands 😉
I wouldn't be able to choose. The bronze is completely underestimated. I bought one after thinking about it for years and I love the bronze color and yet you just can't go wrong with the silver AE1200
