Well, CZcams recommended this to me. And it is just the video up my alley - needless technical information about old games. I mean hey, it worked. I popped open the game after nearly a year of hiatus just to tinker and optimize my Advanced Options. Even experimented with the damage number color, 255-0-50 really made them pop compared to the old pure red color of the default.

Can't see sprays outside of community servers anyway. Though keep in mind that a good spray can improve your spy game.

one small thing with the auto medic call , it works on disguised enemy spies : if you hit them with a saw or crossbow you can see the auto medic call above their head, it's pretty funny for me hah

There should be a menu kinda like Counter-Strike where you can customize what voice commands you have. If you want your entire voice menu to be go left, then thats your choice.

Nice video but it was kinda distracting when you were talking over the voice lines. Also, other than the spy voice lines, i didn't know so many of them were contextual! Really cool how much detail went into the voice acting/voice lines of the game

I was ready to tear apart this one, but these ones are honestly pretty level-headed and a lot more realistic. very rare sight, I commend you for being reasonable and actually thinking about how these new weapons will affect the people playing against it, I think that's something that most people don't think about when discussing balance changes. You make the necessary buffs to make the weapons better without making them polarizing or overpowered.

Thesw balances suck. All you have to do is reduce the damage down to 5, then make it cause bleed for 8 seconds.

the whole "play however you want" aspect is why the game has survived as long as it has. in an era of constant 5v5/6v6 competitive only hero shooters that people already got tired of when ow1 was in double shield meta, tf2 lets you do everything from crouch walking around hightower giving sandwiches out to enemies to competing in 6s LAN events and there's a huge range in between to explore and settle down in

TF2 the only game where you could find a big Russian man crouched in a corner with mittens on and handing out sandwiches while at the same time half of the enemy team is having a dance party in your base

Tf2 is still a good game and cause bots are gone it’s way better now. Tf2 really makes me happy cause of all the stuff in it like the classes the unique maps (except turbine) and the art style. I’m happy that Tf2 is still alive and more players online I hope it continues

while I disagree with most of these, these are some fun ideas at least

Unironically the 12v12 format of "do whatever you want" does lean more into the _team_ aspect of the game by allowing players to naturally cooperate with each other by sheer circumstance, and more often then not, just for hell of it and to see what wack nonsense you can get away with. While your average modern comp shooter with it's 5v5 / 6v6 formats leans _heavily_ towards toxicity, ends up causing players to actively go against cooperating with each other, usually for petty reasons.

My idea for the Vaccinator is that when you Ubercharge, you still get a 75% damage resistance to any damage type of your choice but you get a 25% damage vulnerability for all other damage types.
