This is one of the best ever Python sketches! A 'sixpence' prior to decimalisation in 1971, the sixpence was worth six pennies but there were 240 pennies in the pound. One of the other big Monty Python sketches I don't see up on either of your channels, other than being a snippet in the horrible Watch Mojo video you did, is "Ministry of Silly Walks". I have the correct video for that up, including the set up and ending, as is tradition, the most viewed version on CZcams is cut short "Monty Python's Flying Circus - Ministry of Silly Walks - 1970"

As is tradition, with other poor uploaders of Monty Python, the video is cut short. Him putting the hat on at is not explained and just looks random as it is missing the full ending and follow up explaining the sketch was a cheese related movie from a director who makes cheese related movies of which several others get named

There are some truly excellent specialist cheese shops in the UK that do actually have cheese. Try Neal's Yard Dairy (shop), Paxton and Whitfield - Royal cheese, the Harrod's cheese department (Harrod's Foodhal)l and many others next time you're in London Connor.

The guy playing the parent is Angus Deayton. He is in a few Mr Bean sketches too. He was the original host of "Would I Lie To You" but most known as the host of political/news satire show "Have I Got News For You" , for 10 years before being sacked. Sacked for enjoying the nose candy and regular rumpy pumpy with ladies of the night 😬

The actual name of this sketch is "Fatal Beating" , doesn't spoil the joke the same as the made up title the uploader used.

I don't know who told Atkinson that he could do a Scottish accent, but they were wrong.
