Very cool looking set, got back into RDO and looks amazing to me Edit: how would 1 acquire one of these sets if they are available?
Unfortunately it's a little complicated now since it was a made to order preorder set. You can buy one on bricklink (even though it would probably be about +50 to it's retail price of $160.), or you'd have to buy the parts from different sellers on bricklink. The stickers for the set aren't exactly lego quality, so they could be made at home. Just checked can get the parts for it for around $202 in the us right now.

I’ve done minifigure factory at my nearest LEGO shop in Glendale! It’s fun! Did they let you swap the white arms for the pink arms? I just wish they let you print on different color torsos.
For me it is the real state. What do I take away and bring out. I wish I could build everything and display it. My backlog lives under my bed, which I had to raise 8 inches high, and my closet. I try my best to stop buying. Your set up , display looks fantastic! Have you done a vid about it? Great topic!
Does minifigure factory only do white torsos?
I didn't know this was a thing. What's stopping someone from recreating the print of an extremely rare minifig? Not gonna like I don't really like this idea. Will Bricklink now have an infinite list of torsos? Lol
In theory you could create something very close to an official torso (and several official torsos from the city them can be selected) but ultimately the print quality is more faded and lower than a regular torso. It's also very hard to make precise lines because it's basically using a paint app with a touch screen without additional editing software. All minifigures are also printed on a white torso that does limit possibilities of having a close replica. I don't think these are categorized in bricklink because of that very reason. It's just an "official" way to make customs using some preset prints instead of sharpies. There's technically a way to do it on the Lego website in the USA right now, too
I "wish". By default all of the prints will be on white torsos for one. Secondly, the designer itself is ROUGH. It's fully touch screen, so to get the clone torso lines we had to make things like brackets, resize and rotate. If you make anything that looks like an extremely rare minifig 1:1, genuinely hats off to you.

If you're gonna create custom minifigures, why make it the same as the ones in build-a-minifigure in lego stores? Like the Llama one, its literally the same except it doesnt have a white guitar. The white bear helmet the blue legs and purple hair of the other one and the yellow castle shield are also parts available right now from BAM at Lego stores...
The BAM accessories are all that is available in store. So I did this print in store, and we just go to select accessories from the standard BAM parts available. A tad sad, but I understand not wanting to keep two sets of parts for this in store.
Glad you shared because I haven't seen many people share their minifig factory customs, and normally they're just the default options if they do share. I've made 3. Two were beach related (since Lego doesn't have a many beach torso options and I have a beachfront in my Lego city) and the third was a college sweater of my alma mater. Definitely spent a ton of time making them so glad to hear that I'm not the only one trying to get my money's worth with a unique fig or 3!
It is definitely an insane machine, once it becomes more common, I expect we'll see some crazy things.

Got this set the day it came out. It’s honestly one of my favourites of the 25th anniversary sets. Sith infiltrator, r2d2 and the one with cal kestis is next on my list.
The stardestroyer with cal kestis looks great! Wish it was JFO themed though.

Update: Just a silly mistake but the interaction system I got wrong. I think it's actually Valorum - Senator Palpatine - Queen Amidala. Also that might not have been the same maul that interacts with sidious... I'm sorry.

I completely forgot that I had this set until I saw this. I saw the bug figure, and the "spines" on the ship itself, and instantly remembered playing with it as a kid

Not to be rude or anything but why do you have so long fingernails? I hate when mine gets gets long and it looks bad so I cut them every week obviously you don't have to answer if you don't want to but I find it strange and curious but regardless of that I wanna buy all of the new space sets for mocs and stuff like that but I don't really need them for anything else they look good tho
Honestly, sleep condition. I'm awake a very short period of time everyday so those kinds of things have longer intervals between.

Maybe the interstellar space theme is actually some classified project, thats why it has more advanced tech. They wanted to get a lot of crystals before rival governments even learn of them.
This could definitely help the technological gap in city and fill in the era before galaxy squad and the other space themes we have believed to be within the same timeline. However this makes me wonder who the rival governments could be in lego city.

I've seen it pointed out this ship has the silhouette of the ship on the Lego Space insignia.
Big L from Lego ngl these sets are amazing but you can tell the detail on electros electricity in the first set was amazing although in the second it got crappier so I will be using the first electro minifig
