As a former 20-year attorney in the industry. I enjoyed your youtube video. I just appointed a board to help get more contracts for (program revenue). I don't think board members should ever contribute to a nonprofit, their time is enough. If you have a skilled board they will tell you management should already have a fundraising plan going forward. Too many clowns on CZcams think a board is there to raise money or you need to put a rich guy on the board.

I love the part where you get into why having a board retreat is good. Also what in the world is a board retreat
A board retreat (or offsite) is an annual meeting where nonprofit board members and leadership team align on the organization's strategic goals for the next year and create consensus among the group. A board retreat can also be used to address big problems that might take multiple hours to solve.
