Try 2 shots in under 12 seconds.
I’ll make a video doing this
Have that same hat
You can only shoot 1 shot at a time?!
No you can shoot multiple times or even as many as you want depending on the choice of shooting mode. In open shooting mode you can shoot 100 times in a row if you want. The laser academy requires you to rerack if you are shooting a slide based handgun though. Hopefully that makes sense.
is there no sound option in the mantis app ie gunshots, hits, start, stop etc.
There are some audible functions but not necessarily for target hits or misses. Some of the programs have a start and stop protocol or command protocol.
Thanks for hosting Joel! Can't wait to kick off my H3O training. Ready to put in the work!!!
Dried fruits and salad kits are some of my go-to options for camps. The salad kits are handy if you just mix them up in the bag and eat them right out of it, or divide into bowls for everyone in camp.
Agreed, good options. There are lots of them. Planning ahead and preparing stuff makes life easier in the field for sure. Thanks for the comment.

Are these wet weather over pants ?
They are water resistant. Not rain gear if that’s what you mean. You wouldn’t wear them over another pant. The 3L rain gear from Pnuma is tremendous though if you are looking for that.
@@HuntHikeHarvest thanks mate. The shop that sold them to me sold them as over pants. I’ll take them back and get a proper fitting pair Subbed now
@@devono7230 interesting they did that. Obviously they must not have been educated on them properly. Glad we could help. Feel free to use our code H3O20 for 20% off entire order of any Pnuma gear if you want.
@@HuntHikeHarvest cheers mate. Does that work from Australia?
@@devono7230 should work anywhere if you use online.
Good to see no one watches “hunting influencer” podcasts anymore🤣🤣🤣
Not sure if that’s a joke or a jab but thanks for the comment and watching anyways. Definitely wouldn’t know what being g an influencer even looks like.
If you think this is the best gear, you haven’t tried much.
Appreciate the comment. We have tried numerous lines of gear. Obviously everyone is afforded their right to believe otherwise. We are lucky that there are a lot of choices and everyone has different likes based on types, styles and even budgets. Pnuma has fit all our needs regardless of season. Their lifetime guarantee is also tough to beat. Thanks for watching though. Have you tried Pnuma? A big contention for us is their sizing and a lot of our team is 6’5 and taller which they cater to better than anyone we have seen.
@@HuntHikeHarvest i have pnuma and the sizing is way off. And their lifetime warranty is not hard to beat because they would not honor it on a product 2 weeks old. The lifetime guarantee is the old bait and switch.
@@goodtimekillers3262 Well, sorry to hear that. Not sure what to tell you. We don’t work for Pnuma but have interacted with lots of folks and not heard anything in terms of what you are referring to. If there was something we could do to help I would. Sorry to hear that.
@@HuntHikeHarvest nit your fault, i was just posting my experience after i came across your video. Different strokes for different folks.
Where is that brother?
Death Hike brother! Haha- ran crossed it this morning and made me laugh so had to share it. What a ride! The morning delirious from everyone was hilarious
@@HuntHikeHarvest i laughed too! Thanks for sharing!
I friggin love you guys! This year will be even better!
And by better, you mean worse right? Haha.
@@HuntHikeHarvest exactly!
I used to drive a commercial tractor-trailer. I took a by-pass route from Denver to Durango. At an elevation of 9500 I was shocked to see a young bull step right out onto the 2 lane hwy. Didn't know there was moose in Colorado let alone this far south. Wished I had my camera.
Up in the Cameron Pass area? If so, i think I saw the same one!
The landscape is so beautiful there, and the moose is just an add to it.
I hope you didn't shoot at them from the vehicle which is illegal
Haha. Negative. Didn’t even have a tag. Elk hunting at the time. Just an awesome bull so figured we would share.
You both are wrong thats a hunter not a elk
Haha. No elk were harmed in the filming of this clip!
Great listen!
Thanks for listening. We appreciate it
This does not work with all guns, a friend of mine bought it and he has a .380 Rugar SR, when he put the laser cartridge in the gun and let the slide go forward it goes too far and pushes on the laser, so the laser is on all the time. So he paid $150 for it and it will not work with his gun.
I would reach out to Mantis and see if they have any solutions or recommendations. I would assume that you could return it or exchange for what would better fit. Sorry to hear this and hope you can get this addressed.
@@HuntHikeHarvest I told him to call Mantis Monday morning and ask them about it, we tried to call them today but they do not have any customer support people working on the weekend.
yeah there are certain firearm's that will not work as stated on Mantis website, I believe the Rugar is on there as well.
Thank you for taking the time to make this excellent video. It helped me determine which system to buy first (since I'd like to have both!) to be most beneficial for my training. I am a novice. I have a Glock 19, a Walther PP ACP 380, and a Smith & Wesson 357 magnum 686 revolver. From what I can see here, I think it best for me to start with the Glock (9mm) kit. Your video has given me confidence to spend the $160 on the Laser Academy System to start out, then make the Mantis X10 purchase. I'll plan a "step up" to the Walther once I gain more experience, because it seems to be the best in my arsenal for concealed carry, which is ultimately where I want to be. The Glock, very similar to your S&W 9mm, is comfortable for me and easy to handle (translation: I'm more accurate with it). Again, thanks for the video, I've subscribed to your channel. I will make my purchase through your channel very soon.
Thank you for the feedback! Super happy that we helped. We absolutely love these systems and they are so beneficial in many ways. We appreciate you taking the time to watch. Be sure to use the link provided when you are ready to pull the trigger on your new system! All the best.
Thank you fellas! So happy to have you in the Bow Hitch Fam!
Thank you brother! Game changer and life saver. Must have item for bowhunters.
I have shot TAC colorado 3 years and never seen that course. Prime is the toughest overall course. Sitka is #2 until shot 20 and then its a straight decent downhill into hell you need to be part mountain goat to survive ugh.
Thanks for the reply here. Sorry for the delay. The prime course and sitka are definitely not for the faint of heart. We typically start easier on day one and work our way up to tougher courses. Somehow they all seem to humble you regardless. We hope to be back this year again but will definitely be at all of the Western Huntfest events this year. You should check them out! Much more situational, elk calling contest, kids events, packout challenge. It will test your total skills as a hunter and have you make shots that are more real to the field.
you can not use propane heat because your tent does not let the mosture out.
We typically leave one of the vents slightly open in order to combat that. Better than freezing & we have had the tent out in some pretty rough conditions.
dropping knowledge bombs!!!
Thank you! Glad you like it. Appreciate the feedback
Holy mouth breathing, cameraman
Darth Vader made a guest appearance! Haha. Sorry about that. We will do better.
What is that white noise in the background? It’s really loud
Sorry, not sure. Working on studio quality all of the time. Newer videos of you look are much better.
@@HuntHikeHarvest no problem. I watched your entire video and what you’ve covered is excellent
Woulda watched the video but took you too long to even show what the product was
Sorry that you didn’t like the intro. You can always skip forward while watching. Still appreciate the feedback. Check out the BowHitch review we did as this is also a great option. We actually use both of these products.
Best set of reviews on the entire Mantis X system i have found. Way better than the videos by Mantis! It’s very difficult if not impossible to know which components you want without a thorough understanding of the system. After watching the videos in the HHH series, I will be amending my order with Mantis. Extremely helpful! Thanks for a well thought out, very professional presentation.
Thank you! That is great to hear and we appreciate the feedback. You will love them. They are all fantastic and have been a tremendous help for us.
Satans taint 🤣🤘🏽🤦🏽♂️
It was sketchy! Not for you are scared of heights.
Just ordered a pair. 😊
Pretty sure I’ll be going with pnuma for some rain pants. They sound amazing!
Good memories with some good dudes! Nice work!
Brother, you absolutely captured the essence of that hike. I'm so thankful. Thank you so much for being a part of it. Can't wait till next year.
Gabe, is this what you were saving your energy for on the Exo Hike? I was wondering why you were going so slow. 😝
@@coryford7475 I was waiting for you!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for putting this together.
Great stuff!!
Missed you man. Was epic.
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching!
When he put the bow on the pack it looks like a pain in the ass and you have to stretch your arms way back there to get it on ok idea not for me. And then they way you get it off not a great design. I think the bow hitch works better it’s simple and works like you need it to
Thanks for the comment here. If you have shoulder issues it definitely can be tougher to get on and off. I have some issues myself and takes some time to get used to. We just did a bowhitch review as well and agree that it is super simple and convenient. To be honest I will probably run both! This allows me to keep on my back hiking in and out with the bow spider and then keep the bow more accessible during hunting and moving around. Thanks again for the comment. We appreciate it.
Great podcast and good way to spread the word!
does it fit in a .22 though
Unfortunately they do not make it in the .22 cal. They do have it in 9mm, 45, 10mm, 223 and a few others though. Hopefully at some point the .22 will be available. Thanks for the question. We appreciate you watching!
This video is totally Underated! GREAT STUFF!
Thank you! We appreciate the feedback and glad that you liked this video. We will continue adding more like this as the summer progresses and the season nears!
We went to Rome , had a great time! The courses were awesome
That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for hanving me gentlemen!
Anytime! We will schedule a 3-peat!
I really appreciate the info. Great review and tutorial on how to use the system.
Thanks for watching! We appreciate the feedback and glad that it was helpful. Feel free to use the code if you have not and hopefully you have subscribed to our channel. There are 4 other Mantis reviews on our page as well.
