The review is interesting but the interactions are priceless. This is classic Kermode and Mayo, discsusing a film like characters in a Tom Stoppard play.

This movie always gives me pause as a filmmaker. A movie like Martyrs, I find to be incredibly disturbing and vile and yet, it's a great film. There's a lot in that. A Serbian Film he's right, it's technically well done. But he's also right the allegory is completely lost within minutes into the film. Personally, I think it's unwatchable because it's so morally bankrupt and not intellectually stimulating either

Someone gave me this movie to watch and i knew nothing about it , before Mick turned up i thought it was an alien abduction movie , fuck me was i wrong , this is one of the best horrors ive ever seen.

ID is a decent hooligan film. Some suspect acting here and there, but a good concept and overall a good film. Football Factory is a good film.

The road really affected me watching it and after. I have had nightmares about the road a few times since seeing it. The sheer emptiness and desperation of whats on screen took my breath away. The acting from Viggo and the young boy was remarkable and so realistic. Being hunted by cannibals after an apocalypse is so scary to me. I mean if the world keeps going the way its going and Putin starts a nuke war my city could look like the road in no time at all. When the kid at the end says to the family who find him after his dad dies ," do you carry the fire" . I broke my heart when he said that. A brilliant movie I think.👍
