Our Feb vacation before Covid. On a shoestring budget. I feel so very accomplished that we were able to go, even if it were just a few nights. It gave my son and I some needed one on one time. A bit emotional. Maybe the rain? Missing my sister Sarah, who loved to laugh, sing and dance. We went through chemo together. I did get out to a play, to hear a band, knit some on my sock and went to church! Staying busy and recovering. Thank you for watching.

No wonder I have been so tired... I needed an antibiotic for an infection. The hospital wanted to keep me, but I had a full schedule, wanted my antibiotic and go on my merry way. The big wind blew down the woodpeckers tree and they are upset! They are beautiful Flickers. I drove my son to take his PSATs and took a long nap in the car. Chemo fatigue is real. I do not always get to do what I planned, but remain positive. Sleep is healing.

As a Stage 4 cancer survivor, I am not afraid to teach my son how to drive. It was actually something that I looked forward to once chemo was over. In this clip, I share various driving stories of close calls. You need to be patient, stay alert and keep a safe distance when driving. Now my son understands why he is my “secretary” when I drive. I hope you enjoy my stories!

I love the storm surge at the beach. We have the best surf on Cape Cod. Come check it out with me. It was very windy, but I turned the volume down on the wind part.
