Objectively rushing mining and money is better since inflation will increase those prices where dungeon chest prices are static. Every midgame ironman player should get 1b gold and max shens and Dark auction as fast as possible. Mining and money helps combat combat does not help money.

Thats just not true im doing that for the past month or so (i can do 2m-2.5m dmg with my hype 2m when using mithril coat to counter beacons) and its fast if you dont do 2m a hit with hype please please get better equipment mine costed about 40-50m and i got my dmg up so much this is not bad at all you are just not doing it right sorry bud

Ok I’m level 332 Ironman (2500 pt) and I don’t have hype, term, Midas staff, or greg. A lot of what I’ve done is just influenced by the leaderboard system, like I just want to get to the top in different aspects. Like fishing, bestiary, coleweight ranking, etc. I play the game opposite to a normal profile. Instead of aiming for the best items first then going for massive collections and Skyblock exp, I went for Skyblock exp then the items.

for me lvl 275 (neither hype or term) i feel like im rushing but i get demotivated from pfinder, and i want a hype for term grinding (i can do t4s but its hella slow and pfinder kicks me bc juju (i have eff10 etherwarp routes and and infinniboom for pearl glitching)) i hope this helps you understand the low progression and yes, i think its ytber influenced because you have people to play with who recognize your skills, and dont just look at your weapon only. like yes, i have a 5:30 pb as a juju non and i didnt even got carried in neither clear or terms and people hate on me in pfinder

I think they progress that way because they found it fun to do so, maybe they don't like the idea of rushing into dungeons or just find it easier. Also I would love to see a guide on how you got so far in the game if you make one I'll definitely watch it. btw, just a question but how much should I powder grind before getting into mining gemstones and all the rest of mining I'm currently around 4m/4m on my ironman but idk if that is enough or to little to start or if I should just keep powder mining until I get max then get into gemstones and getting full divan.

It's about what ppl enjoy doing really, for example im like lvl 330 (1700 hr pt) with term cuz eman is fun, but i only have 150 f7 runs cuz i dont like floor 7. Besides that a lot of people like to play a lot of different aspects of the game, and max their account. I play to semi max the account so one day I will need to buy a midas staff for museum anyways, might as well do it now. If your goal however is to get hype and do dungeons you dont need to care that much about rift for example while I certainly do care about maxing that. also the thing about hype is that its a lot more than 240m since you will be buying recombs and enchants along the way so dungeons is kinda expensive. (im doing MM cuz I enjoy it more, might get hype in m7 or smt.) Hype also isn't required for a decent part of the game; mining and farming dont need it at all and fishing is still pretty efficient with spoon. Also idk if u want a higher lvl or a more progressed profile or not but here are a few things you might want to do in that case 1 Skills: Farming, Fishing and Alch are rly low. (farming helps with carp 50 too if you dont auto craft into the bigger crops) 2 Minions: If you spend like 50 hrs getting to 29 or 30 minion slots you can get like 15+ lvls rly quickly 3 Talismans: 671 MP is kinda low especially if you wanna do kuudra or smt so focussing on getting a few more talismans would help a lot. (Get vamp minions and finish rift, that talisman takes 15 years to get.) 4: Mining: Your mining setup is pretty good already but getting those last slots and all perfects would make it more complete, also idk if u have 655, if u dont try to get it slowly since forging takes a decent amount of time. Holy moly btw, 1001 on control dojo is insanely good. My ign is Tettertv btw if you wanna see my acc, maybe you see some things that I did that may not be logical or u dont understand or smt.

dungeons is just the last thing I want to do as an ironman. I know it's not the best decision, but if I want to start doing dungeons I want to completely be prepared and basically max nearly everything outside of dungeons to be able to always be prepared for the next dungeons I go into or be prepared to changes in the meta

Imma be real i think a lot of ironman are kinda toxic imo... started my ironman a little bit ago and after almost 5k hours on a normal profile just wanted to enjoy the profile rather than full push progression as much as possible. currently sitting at 2B nw, SB lvl 216 with a skill avg of almost 42 and a little over 700 hours but I havent done a crazy amnt of mining simply because it wasnt what i wanted to do and people just genuinely hate the fact that i didnt insta rush mining and mine 5B coins so i could buy a gdrag and midas staff. sometimes people seem to forget that you can make progression doing anything and it doesnt necessarily have to be the most optimal or predetermined way of doing something as long as it doesnt burn you out and make you wanna quit i think thats fine. I will never understand why someone will rush something they dont wanna do because theyve been told that they should knowing that after theyve done it theyre gonna be super burnt out and stop playing meaning it was a complete waste of time. TL;DR just play the game and stop thinking about how to be as efficient as humanly possible :)

I dont enjoy dungeons because I don't have anyone to play with & I have never ran a F7 with S or higher so I have no clue how the boss works (it is too complicated for me to understand tbh + my armour is horrible) and I do not want to end up being a party finder monkey. Instead I prefer to do mining, farming and slayers because they seem much more fun overall (my ironman is level 260)

I think it's just a matter of what different people focus on in terms of progression. I myself focused on skills, slayers, museum etc. a lot more than dungeons and gear/weapons in general and as such I'm currently sitting at level 282 but without a hype (damn you RNG) or term. I do think dungeons is important if you want to progress past a certain point and a hype is without a doubt a great asset for a lot of things, slayers specifically, but I guess a lot of people just get kind of unlucky with drops and then find it too repetitive to continue going for it :shrug:
