Hey um how do I buy a formula Mazda car because I would like to get into the sport
This is my dream, to race cars and inspire people on social media with it like you do. When it comes to racing cars, i just got my miata where should i start?? I have it in me i just dont know where to even begin with not a lot of money
Start by going to your local track and meeting people. See what’s available as far as racing and classes. Offer to help someone who is racing (maybe an older person). You just have to “get in the scene”. The only way is constantly making connections. Money is ALWAYS the limiting factor unless you’ve got a rich dad. Sponsors are also about connections.
@@AshlynSpeed what if the closest track is 3 hours from me? And I don’t have a trailer or anything, I’d be driving the Miata the whole way should I still go for it?
@@Jay_DM maybe look for autocross events near you. That will allow you to use your Miata.
how did you get your own garage next to a track? I just got my miata and wanna start tracking but dont know where to start. I dont know what license to get, what's allowed or what's not allowed, you have any advice
There are lots of “Motorsport ranches” now where rich people rent garages at a members track. I was fortunate enough to be friends with one such man due to his kids being on the same kart team as me as a child. He lets us come and go as we please. Again, meet people constantly.

Have you tried FF1600 in iRacing?
Yes. But I don’t like using sim rigs even though we have an awesome one. It’s just not the same.

Hey ashlyn, I've been wondering. How tall do you have to be to drive one of these? Can they be modified to fit a 6'1 guy?
Yes there are some tall guys racing then. The pedals can be shortened and the seat is usually custom. The new FMzR I believe has more space too.
