Nice video. Have you replaced the chain or did you buy a new one? I can't find a replacement at Lowe's. I think I saw a different brand I might use instead of a craftsman brand.
@@jcordero18 I have not. I bought a stihl file that has done great at sharpening the chain.
@@nascarnate326 Thank you for the response.
So the lithium ion 20v you can’t use on the 20v Craftsman tire inflator ? Even if it calls for the V20 battery ? I’m confused
You can only use batteries marked "V20". Typically they are red. For some reason Craftsman let Sears make their own 20 volt cordless tools. You want the Red ones from lowes IMO.
fantastic, thank you very much for sharing this, we are just starting out with milling to make a fence and this is very helpful :)
First cut is the most important for sure. Happy Milling.
Do not buy this product. Absolutely terrible. I got more pressure from my water hose without this machine. I returned it to my local Ace Hardware and got my money back. I told the salesman that this is a pitiful product ... Come on craftsman!! get it together.
You ain’t kidding! I threw mine in the trash
May I ask what’s the big battery you’re using please
6ah amazon battery, no idea what the actual ah is. 4 is plenty for this saw.
1:26 of my life that I will never get back, what a waste of peoples time!!
What exactly were you expecting?
It looks like pad material buiilt up on the rotor surface, I have heard people replacing rear brakes at low miles. The traction control and stability system will activate the brakes thousands of time without you knowing.
Where's the longer wand?
Never used it but I have it.
@nascarnate326 I need one. Bought mine from one of those stores that buys pallets of returns or never sold stock places. Only paid $20 for it but it's missing that longer rods. Thought it would be good for washing my motorcycle or something. Ya that shirt connector does suck.
Great video thank you !
Those are normally starter batteries as you can't do jack diddly squat with two amp batteries except maybe power a flashlight.
I bought one it had no manual.
How to replace/adjust tension on it? I have exact saw , bought new chain and cant get it to stay on. I adjusted tension and nothing, more slack. Thanks
I believe there is a little screw that you turn, flat head on the front of the saw "next to the bar"
Hold up ima go check my batteries
YEHAA
What size is your garage? Looks pretty big?
40x40
Unreal bike
Wow it's no different than just using a regular hose nozzle like you said
I am sure it has a use..I just haven't found it yet.

If that white hose goes into a bucket, then you can use whatever liquid/solution you make and spray it onto your car; eg. Distilled Water, DI Water, Rinseless Wash. etc.. at larger quantities w/ decent pressure. But it is a niche use in the market.
The ridgeline is all wheel drive not front wheel drive
Beautiful cars, miss seeing so many of these on the roads
My 07 Ridgeline has 3 engine and 2 transmission mounts. eBay has kits with all 5 for different prices
why did you sell the previous 1, were there any issues ?
Where will I get the bigger battery. I have multiple craftsman 20v items.
Nice review, but please take out the battery before you demonstrate👍
I have 07 love it 290000 kilometers with second belt and water pump had check engine light replaced 02 censor front of engine .take care of them they will last .hi from Canada🇨🇦👍
is it a slip on in this video?? if so did the pipe come with a reducer to fit the header??
I believe it slipped on the factory header pipe. I don’t think there’s many gains on aftermarket header.
Does anyone know if you have to change the pilot jet when running a fatty? Or am I just an idiot?
You should be able to go on PC or FMF website to get the exact jetting for your pipe/ elevation combo.
Has it ever overheated and what do you do?
Once. Turn on all the blower motors you can yo take heat off the system, make sure the door dampner can close, check door seal and make sure the pump is working. Worst case run a garden hose to the top vent/fill hole. 60 degree water will cool down 215 water real quick.
Where did you get that gas tank from I want a nice white one and it looks perfect for what i need to get mine looking good
How do you fill it with water for first time use? I just bought a house with your same exact one and I have no idea how to get it going. Any help would great. God bless!
typically you fill it from the top of the unit. Take the black cap off and fill it. Ours is filled via our water heater because we have a side arm setup. Make sure to use the newest moly armor and get a test kit.
@@nascarnate326 i believe I have a side arm set up as well…
Nice!
Cool setup, and great looking little pieces of lumber
I called about my v20 lithium ion 2.0 amp hour battery saying 1.5 on the underside and they sent me a free v20 4.0..lol just a little tidbit of info.
Nice Work!! Are you using a ripping chain?
Thank you
Great vid thanks for the info. Comment on the strange wear on inside of rotors. Possible from use of E parking brake, since that is the side where force is applied. Michigan? Maybe use a dab of antiseize where rotor contact hub. Once again thanks for the vid. 👍
That very well could be. My parking brake gets set every time I load it with wood, hook up a trailer ect it seems like.
Thank you so much!!!!😊
My truck ! But I have factory roof racks. Factory nav that I added backup camera. 170k
Just did timing belt...new tires...4 new brakes as well. Just wish mileage was better😢
Hope you're still well today. CZcamsrs could learn from your map screen overlay, that is the superior way to do it.
I always wondered why the gauges never really took off. I always loved them.
When adding oil, the instructions say fill reservoir until the oil level has reached the top of the level ‘INDICATOR’ 👈🏻 🤔 Now thats whats weird to me. Because you turn the chainsaw on the side to fill? Do you fill it up to below where you would then screw the cap back on? Because when you then place the the chainsaw back to resting position, the only “level indicator” says MIN? So - again the whole instruction to fill it up to the top of the indicator, when you’re doing it from the side, there’s no indicator other than just stopping before it would over flow? I just thought the written instructions were not very clear. And you yourself only put in X amount and then showed you were just above the MIN level line. I just wanted to know what the correct oil level actually is for this thing. Thank you!
Great review but it's not a saw in willing to drop $170 on.. it's small and compact but man, it took forever to cut that 4" limb
Agreed. As you may well know, a good reciprocating saw with a good quality 9” or 12” pruning blade (like a Milwaukee brand blade) can make short work of most any tree limb, branch or medium to small log, no matter how hard the wood. I am aware that the manufacturers do not recommend reciprocating saws for such applications (besides light pruning), but as compact as a recip saw is with high and low speed settings, i'd be a fool not to use it to cut fallen tree limbs and even up to 2 foot wide fallen trees with it while out mountain biking. I too was shocked to see how slow that electric chain saw was cutting that 4 inch branch compared to the speed with which my v20 craftsmen brushless recip cuts when i'm trail riding. That electric chain saw is cool, but a little too bulky to pack in my rear bike panniers anyway, and obviously a little slower. I know that it may even struggle a bit cutting a 1-2 foot fallen tree. Certainly the manufacturer would not recommend it, but like most of us, we pay little attention to such restrictions. 😉 Right now I'm slowly hacking through a giant 2.5 to 3 foot circumference fallen tree on one of the trails using a circumferential cutting method and a 12 inch pruning blade. I'm trying to find a larger blade so I can finish the job in the next few weeks, plus a 4.0 amp (if I buy one soon) battery would speed things up. I carry my 3 - 2.0 amp batteries with me but they have their limits. I have already cut many fallen trees from 3 to 12 plus inches and I am very happy with the craftsmen v20 reciprocating saw that I paid under 120$ for (it was on sale, probably around 90-100$), although I would not necessarily recommend it for everyday industrial/pro work. It's also great for ground work cutting medium to small stumps and roots. It also cuts metal nicely when my angle grinder tells me Im asking to much. Peace and blessings!
For those who are unaware. Its very dangerous to cut fallen trees of a larger size and I never use a reciprocating saw to cut larger trees that are not fallen (still upright) I would use a chain saw. Plus, i would closely study proper cutting methods first or hire a professional tree service. On fallen trees that are of a larger size and still have a root ball still partially in the ground. The tree can snap into upright position after being cut as the root sysyem can act as a type of spring. People have been serioisly injured and even killed. Same with larger fallen trees that are long and suspended a few feet off the ground and or on sloping terrain. They can snap up, down or side to side and ruin your day! 😓 😩 Be careful!
Love the arrangement and organization of your shop.
Due e cinquanta nn è un problema è solo le tue fisse e paranoie
They don’t have anything to prevent hyperextension like a tech 10 or sg12
Not from a marketing stand point. Tech 10 didnt do Eli any favors :(
Brake service mode.......got me good GM but alas I has CZcams to educate me on your stupidity.😅
I like the stig sticker!
Car sounds sexy too! lmao!
When you install the new brake pads into the caliper bracket, are they supposed to be touching the rotor or spring back? Mine are touching the rotor and not compressing the spring pad clips which I feel like they should be.
they should be lightly touching. Just enough to keep the pad/rotor clean but not enough to create tons of heat or actually slow the vehicle down in any way.
I miss mine!
That fake license plate is funny a.f.
Plate is 100% real. Ran it for many years on multiple cars.
When you put it in brake service mode does it pull piston in all the way for width of new pad? I started my passenger side and twisted piston in with tool. The piston wouldn’t go back in far enough to clear the new pad. Then found out about the disable of electronic brake . I put old brakes back on and cleared my Christmas tree of lights on the dash. Going to try again today. I’m not new working on cars.
It should. Alternatively you can pull the electric parking brake off, pull the two small bolts on the cover, and turn it further to fully retract it.
