I have this guitar it's a Gibson SG Special with P90s. I love it. The only thing is when I play the higher strings, namely the B String and High E, the notes don't sound very articulate. It's not like the sound of a Single Coil or Humbucker, it sounds a little weak not enough of a bright sound, those notes don't sound too clear. Can anyone help?

The tuning sounds off to me in this video. I checked the guitar again today and realized I had the action too high and things just weren't correct. Made adjustments and today it sounds perfectly in tune all over.

Everyone says blue channel is Marshall, but OG Marshall was based off a bassman. I hear more bassman in the blue channel, which to me makes this a dream amp. Blackface on green, bassman/tweed on blue, and mark series on red. A real sleeper. This amp loves pedals. Put a Wampler Tumnus in front of blue or red channel and you have Metallica early tones. Put a Jensen blackbird alnico 90 watt alnico and prepare to drool. Turn the bass all the way down on green channel for Fender blackface.

Love the darker tone of the big sizes. I wonder what Bonham would think of the Big Beat line if he were still with us.

P90’s take care of that bridge HB angle, I put a small block of wood to put my bridge HB At the right angle. P90’s takes care of that.. Sounds good with P90’s. I bet the Fishmans would scream in it. Love the chunky round necks but man I wish they would put out more round necks that arent full bat guards.

Im literally shocked at how good this sounds with the Les Paul! The Celestion Gold is magic in this little amp! What overdrive unit are you using? This rig sounds magnificent!
