Ever since I heard this song, I've wanted to edit it. It was just so hard to think of a series that would fit. Then I realised One Day could fit in a way - emmadex are such an on and off pairing, and the song is interpreted to fit that here. I did realise I wasn't hearing the "else" word in the lyric orz but I think my interpretation can still work! This was fun to edit to and so easy. One Day really is a breeze to edit. And I've successfully got all my feels out about the series now :)

I started this video after a mitski binge and watching the first 3 eps of our flag means death season 2. The song is so perfect to edit blackbeard's descent into insanity during the end of season 1 and first 3 eps of season 2. It was really fun matching the beats, but took me a while to complete the timeline. Really wanted to nail the emotional peaks in the song. Mitski is great for that. Glad ...

I'm so excited about the new series of Our Flag Means Death, the teaser made me finally upload this video I've been working on. Essa nova gravação de one day é épica . Mostra um retrato perfeito do tempo ❤ Esses atores superou as expectativas. Entregaram verdade em muitas cenas . É triste 😢 o final admito que amo final felizes 😂acho que é da minha pessoa . A música de lord com esse filme aí é que fica mais triste ainda ❤ mas saudosa ao mesmo tempo. Foi bom ter assistindo novamente. A ideia da Mine série mostrar justamente a importância dos segundos e instantes a importância de valorizamos o tempo e as mudanças de estações e anos perceber quem de fato está ao nosso lado . Deixar o orgulho de lado e dizer o quanto amamos alguém ,o quanto amamos a vida Tanto tempo passou e Dexter e Emma ocultaram por vezes o sentimento que sentiam um pelo outro achando que era só amizade . No final é bem nítido as lembranças de Dexter em relação a Emma quando naquele momento da escada em que ele voltou para pegar o telefone dela na verdade era para ele ter feito o contrário e ter tido a coragem de beija-la . Mas olhando por outro lado ! Será que Dexter e Emma seriam tão verdadeiro e intensos como foram ? Será que se eles não tivesse conversado naquela noite que na verdade era só para ser de segundas intenções 😅mas na verdade eles se opuseram a isso " na verdade ela mas que ele " mas ela foi conduzindo ele e assim quando perceberam já eram bons e grandes amigos , confidentes eu diria . É tão bom ter alguém para confiar e Emma tinha Dexter e Dexter tinha Emma mesmo que não fosse por completo como de fato eles queriam mas não tinha coragem para admitir . Mas eles viveram uma linda história de amor , de respeito , lealdade, construção . Talvez se eles já ficassem juntos não haveria tantas aventuras e poderiam se perder mas não eles se encontravam todos os dias na mesma data em anos diferentes eles se conheceram de verdade independente do que tempo que passou.

He was amazing, they were amazing. Just a pity despite it being a short series, I feel like the timeline jumps and their friendship could've been better highlighted.
True, though I think the point was to tell the story through the anniversary of the day they met in following years 😅 but yes towards the end it was like whiplash with the time skips.
This young apart from being dashing he also has a lovely voice and is a very good actor
Dex genuinely comes across like he is in love with Emma and I'm here for it

The point is, if anywhere in their story they decided to stop wasting time, would they have lasted, or was the timing perfect, yet cruel? In the end, he seems to regret not to have been with her sooner, but “sooner” maybe just wasn’t their time, they had other stuff to pursue and it wouldn’t have been the same, they had to mature separately to get together and it’s tragic, but isn’t life a bit tragic at times?
Awww this is a really bitter sweet edit. I haven't seen the show, but I think you did a great job of expressing the emotions involved as well as capturing that specific "mood" and "atmosphere" in your edit that just feels so melancholic. I love it a lot, and if I still had Netflix, I'd probably watch the show after watching this.

I'm not sure I can say anything more than my initial thoughts during the beta-tests but I'll try... I love the pacing throughout; it's the one thing I think you nailed perfectly! & I like the coloring overall. There's a part of me that things you could've kept using the 4by3 aspect for flashbacks post-death scene but it's a nitpick at best. The mood of the video works exceptionally well with the song. & it all captures Izzy's relationship with Ed so well (the good & the bad). It's a wonderful tribute to Izzy. I don't know what else to add here... 😅

I said this when I watched your full beta: The build-up is amazing. & the emotions are really well-done with this song. Also, as an aside, I love the idea of the coloring tinting the sky purple in a few shots, like a new dawn or something; it's really unique. Ironically, a red sky also symbolizes (at least in some cultures) a sign of death. So the ending of the video works really well with that motif even if that wasn't the intention X'D

My comment is so late, I remember I said I had to wait till I'd seen the episodes back then in order to watch your video, then I sort of forgot I hadn't. You captured Ed's emotions perfectly! The only thing I would say is the coloring too dark, occasionally. Outside of that critique, I don't really have any; it's really simple & focused on cuts & emotion, so it's really good. Also, love the voice over choices <3
