Der Motor hat eine Königswelle verbaut, wie man sieht.. gibt's heute nur noch in der Kawasaki W800

The W2 was a copy of the BSA a10 except it was Metric . Kawasaki made the W1 that had one carbs and the W2 had two carbs . Great Bikes.

69000 Km in 50 Jahren, zeugen davon das der Benz wohl als Sonntags und Genussfahrzeug bewegt wurde. So gerade mal eingehahren würd ich sagen. Ich durfte als Azubi öfter den 350 SE vom Chef bewegen. Das hat er gemacht, damit wir Verantwortungsbewustsein und Zielstrebigkrit lernen sollten. War immer ein majestätisches Fahrgefühl. Vom Fahrersitz aus glaubt man, der riesige Vorderwagen würde beim lenken ausschwenken wie der Bug eines Kreuzfahrtschiffes. Das war wohl mit eines der besten Autos, die Mercedes je gebaut hat. 😊

Tolles motorrad mit erstaunlich niedrigem km stand, aber 17800 euro wirken ein bisschen viel oder was macht hier den preis aus?

Mit so einer Maico hat ein Freund von meinem Bruder in den 80zigern sein linkes bein verloren ☹️er ist an der hinteren Stoßstange von einem Mercedes hängen geblieben und ist noch hunderte Meter gefahren bis er umgefallen ist ,das war am Westensee bei Kiel, der Freund Sigi hat es gut überstanden 😊.

The clatter of the dry clutch is unforgettable. It used to over heat need to be cooled down for 15 minutes when in the city. The sound was better with the track termies! Glorious.

rode this bike when I was 17 yrs old in Japan... notice the brake is on the left as this was a copy of the Triumph Bonneville which had the brake on the left and the gear shifter on the right side..

Original factory sticker with frame number on it, placed on the top part of right hand side of the frame tube is missing. But the engine has the original cam chain tensioner. I thought that the 1979 with frame number up to 6200, model A1 were Luminous Starlight Blue? and A2 Ruby Red frame No. 6201. Nice bike.

Nun - so etwas in der Art gabs in der Audi TE auch als Spielzeug: Einen Audi 50 mit dem 1,6l Einspritzermotor ala Golf GTI I. Damit haben die Jungs auf der nahen A9 Porsches geärgert :-) . Nun, woher ich das weiss: Mein Vater war damals in der Entwicklung des 50ers direkt dabei. Bei der ersten Sommertestfahrten mit dem Kleinen in El Golea und Tamanrasset (Algerien), im Winter in Muonio und Rovaniemi (Finnland), Bremsentest am Rossfeld bei Berchtesgaden etc. . Das tat allen Audianern damals sehr weh den geliebten 50er an VW abgeben zu müssen....
