Aloha thank you all for tuning into this years 44th Annual Hui O He'e Nalu opening Ceremony race start at Sunset Beach. If im not mistaking I thing Ezra announced this year as a record breaker with the most to ever leave on the long course from Turtle bay. This year was also special as tribute was given to Tomayo Perry and his ohana. I was not able to get to the finish at Waimea Bay intime amongst the traffic and zero parking. I hope you enjoy!

My mom worked in Kakaako, would drop me off at Ft Derussy in the morning, and I worked at Surf Cats rentals in front of da Hale Koa. Walking back to her office in the afternoons, I’d walk past da OG Surfline shop, wishing I could have a new Aipa sting. 😊❤️💪🤙
