the 20 turn experience is just about what I'm getting for most of these EX3 battles, lol. Thankfully I have good enough units to take on a good deal of them, but the battles just run real long.
yeah the problem is that if you don't have the dmg to kill in 1 break, the boss gets enraged, changes weakness or otherwise does some bullshit move and you need a more defensive approach. So it's kinda quick less than 10 turns or more than 20 turns without anything inbetween.

I got elletrix with the boa commemoration pull, and got joshua a2 and alaunex in 4 multis, I should spend until I get elrica, worse case scenario is I need to spend 3.3k more to get her, or should I rather save ? I’m sitting on 12.5k rubies rn. I don’t have krauser and rinyuu yet which I’m highly interested in sparking, also. What is the best strat in your opinion ?
If you have the resources to spare, Joshua A4 is a great acc. Elrica is a fan favorite and it's hard not to pull for her, but we have many great warriors already and coming. I say don't sacrifice Signa and Odio-O for her. If you get Elrica you can move on to spark Rinyuu. I love Krauser but we're at a point where he gets kicked out by Roland+Leon+Solon+PrimEX without much loss if any. My strat has been to pull the 100 paid for 10 pulls (2x if I do a paid lap) and fill the gap to pity with free rubs. Seems like a good tradeoff for MT since the paid frags are permanent and the free frags would vanish.
Joshua is only a2 but I will eventually get 2 dupes I’m hopeful. Okay then I don’t spend anythint else, will do the same strat when sazantos comes out (pull cygna first, if I get her in a few pulls I stop, if not I either spark her or get her late and try to pull sazantos or pity him). My goal is to get ditraina, and spark leon. Is odio o such a great unit when compared to elrica ? I also pull the 100 paid for each (i get them from the monthly pass, I don’t pay for anything else however). I’m trying to stop pulling without thinking cuz I know that OT2 units are busted in JP at the moment, so I really pull when I feel the unit is a must have (got lucky on solon and nepthi, first multi for each) like alaunex or cygna. Thanks for the advice !
How do you decide between using free and paid rubies? Is there an amount you try to maintain? Or are you just saving for something specific in the future.
I try to get the 10 pulls for 100 rubies. Then if I am going pity anyways sprnding 300 frees is better imo
100 paid and I got Elrica. Stopped right there and got Alaune Ex with memories fragments. Probably gonna buy the awakening stone packs and walk out of this with a much healthier ruby stack than I had after having to pity Canary. The guaranteed 5* got me a3 for Cecily so that was ok. Could have been much worse.

@@cotc_grind1059well it works now, but my account got deleted I don’t know how or what happened like a glitch or bug. So I contact customer service yesterday, and fill out this form, but in one of the blanks ask for player ID on old account, and player ID on a temporarily account, but I dont remember my player account from the old one, and on the temporary account it doesn’t show a player ID, so I just put “ user ID “ instead, so hopefully that works. They better give me my account back I spend hours and money on this game, if they don’t, I’m gonna have to file a claim on my bank account and get a refund on all my transactions. Any other recommendations you have for me?
@@cotc_grind1059 yeah it didn’t let me update and go in the game all day yesterday, until last night it finally worked, but there was a glitch or something that caused to delete my account! So I contact support and file what they needed, but in one of their question they asked for the player ID number on the old account and to create a temporary account and give them the player id from the temporary account as well , but I don’t remember my player account number from my old account so I put the User ID instead , will that work, or do you have any other recommendations?

Hmm I think I deleted my own comment…anyways. Pre-Canary try when this fight first came out (Gilderoy tank): 100+ turns. Canary try (with her as tank with the Plant tower full health taunt accessory pair and Sonia): 32 turns. I was so surprised how easy she made it, I thought it was EX1. I think I consistently broke every other turn with minimal defense applied as Canary stacks just kept steady at 6 or 7. Comp for latter try is: Regular Prim/Sonia,Bargello/Falco,Therion/Sarisa,Canary/Rinyuu.
Nicely done. Yeah, breaking often is pretty good and Canary is excellent at that.
The tank route with Haanit EX instead of Tatloch should be faster, since you could tank his attack easily with only Gracious and full debuff. Stick the paid rabbit or the black cat on her, and Disarray shouldn't be too much of a problem. I didn't have her, so I had to use my GOAT Serenoa, he did help with his ult by letting Bargello used Perseverante twice in one break (Hagen is the only awakening stone pet I have), but he sucks overall, really. Definitely my most proud achievement in this game so far, I only used some cheap choices like Ri'tu,Nicola and no gacha A4s, though it's not like I have any to begin with. Bargello + Winged Sheath is a life saver, it's the only way I have to manage his SP when pairing him with Nicola. I don't even have any good breakers like Sonia or Canary, my best breaker is Ri'tu and her Wild Twin Deadly Dance (lol). Also I don't know if you saw it or not since I don't want to see this fight ever again, but this guy have a really wacky combo that I personally called the Twin Funny Flash Combo. Long story short, there's a chance for him to use the skill Twin Flash or Twin Flash: Blaze thrice in a row after the first break (I think?), each one deals 1k8-2k damage with Gracious and full debuff, multiply that damage 3 times and you will get 5k4-6k damage to the front row, which you couldn't tank unless you somehow switch them after being attacked once or twice. I laughed so hard when he did that for the first time, like, what could I even do about it? You should have a better time dealing with it than me though, since you have Tatloch and her extra defense, not to mention those shiny A4s. In the end, I still think it's a hilarious thing to point out.
Those are all good points. Maybe making a sidestep char the tank using Hammy is a more reliable route. I just went with maximum mitigation / long fight since it's a 1x fight only anyways. When I re-do this without A3 units or gacha A4 accs, I'll probably try to deal a lot more dmg during the first 2 breaks.
Thinking about using this strat. Would a low level Yan Long works here? I have been slacking off on grinding him. Also I dont have Lianna
It works I think. But you'll need Ramona and Milard debuffing IMO

This is a very specific combination but this will become more and more common as we get powercreep.
This EX3 fight always catch a lot off people of guard especially at the beginning when he would nuke the whole front row. Once you survive that, you need set up your healer and debuffer immediately to stabilise the whole fight. Again, nice clear :)

It took me exactly 3 cycles of Krauser's skill to finish this guy off, the clear was twice as long as yours thanks to the lack of Leon, Solon and premium pets. Krauser only has 8 SP left after landing the killing blow lol
Congrats! Yes Leon and Solon are real good in spear teams. I wish we had more ways to increase dmg cap.

Yes absolutely. Edea's A4 gives a free action every turn FOREVER all in a single item. I personally consider it the best acc in the game.

This clear has a lot of A3 bulk. If that's the case (you keep getting wiped) you may need a different strategy with more damage mitigation. Leon is great since he debuffs 15% patk/eatk so you can use someone like Sarisa to cap the debuffs and Rinyuu+Ophilia for the defense.

It's kind of a dmg race. I think it can be improved with a few tricks here and there.

Nice clear, I totally understand using spear for the first phase, was there any reason why you didn’t go for an electric focus team for the last two phases?
We generally have a LOT more support for phys teams. For example: it is very simple to get A2 to hit 6x99k. For lightning, we would need to give so much support for the likes of Cyrus to hit 200k x 3, and Cyrus is top tier thunder dmg dealer.

Thankfully this guy wasn't in 1F, or else we would all be doomed lol. Nephti and her 7-hits single target axe skill is the MVP for me here, she does an excellent job at not letting this thing use its ultimate until the 15th-17th turn
