Michael Brandon is a very good narrator. His voice isn’t too gravely, it isn’t jarring, and his diversity in voices is actually impressive. Brandon does not deserve the hate he gets. I love Brandon

I would usually wait to finish the whole video, but I NEED to talk about 8:13-8:54 - I feel like it isn't 100% on Mitton's hands for the poor executions of episodes. I suspect that it was mix of himself AND the writer's in-charge of actually executing the stories, consider all he did was come up with story ideas and not actually doing any of THE executing of the idea. However, I don't think he has the blame off either. As seen in some of his TUGS episodes, he does tend to have some pacing issues. These flaws are especially present in the TUGS episode "Ghosts". It has the weakest writing of the whole series, but is made up for it by every other aspect of the episode enhancing the visuals. Series 6 feels like that episode's mindset applied to an entire series, without those ingredients that helped "Ghosts". I feel like Britt Allcroft and David Mitton were really good at the stopping the other from making stupid decisions that would detract from the project, and that some of the flaws of their solo times with Thomas or their own projects showcase why the two were so important to the series. TL;DR - Series 6's writing flaws are a mix of David Mitton having his story ideas focusing too much on fun crashes, the writer's poor execution of those ideas, and the lack of major involvement from Britt Allcroft... ...and also likely some other complex factors from the writer's and Gullane's end, but that's a longer story for some other comment section lol.

I’m liking this already. I could come and watch a dvd with you all if you want. And yes I’m aware, I’m no Series 6 lover.
