My beautiful potted Peace Lilies in my garden. They are toxic to humans and animals. So be careful and wash your hands after handling these plants. If pets ingest the plant or brushes passes the plant then licks themselves contact your vet and the poison control unit.

    This gives me hope, I'm also in the Bronx and I just started rooting fig cuttings about 6 weeks ago and I've been wondering even if they will ever grow into trees

    I have made fig leaf tea. It's a nice flavor that reminds me of a warm spice like cinnamon but smelling just like the fig tree, instead.
