Happened after updating graphics drivers - Isn't at all related to the black polygon bug which was fixed by disabling mat_phong and mat_bumpmap.

I finished this one like 3-4 months ago. I'm actually working on a game that utilizes this soundfont for the entirety of it's soundtrack, so if you like this song for whatever reason, I'll be uploading more.

How to get the soundfont?

Try taking out the custom filer and anything custom including cfg it looks to be a hud issue so I’d start there remove 1 thing an launch the game to see would be my best advice
I've had this same issue, and I haven't found a solution yet
Sorry for the late reply, but the issue kinda just resolved itself for me after a couple of months - and I have absolutely no clue why. It got fixed after not touching the hard drive that the game was on for several months, then coming back and doing some updates. Even stranger is I just recently switched to a different distro of linux and the same spazzy interface and polygon stretching issues started happening again, although I made sure all my drivers and stuff are up to date.
I know this is for a game but with that title, I could see this as being the Maximum Velocity theme to "Outer Space" from F-Zero AX.
Yeah that was sort of the inspiration. (sorry for the late reply btw i never touch this account)
