Very solid, not only did you manage the recoil for peak accuracy on both targets, (while also aiming below in advance) you identified a friendly and ceased fire accordingly. Peak reflexes of a seasoned gamer. Those target drills of "Shoot, don't shoot" with civilian or friendly soldier shaped targets really pay off.

Now a More enhanced model of the 1919 just like this one would of been able to compete with the mg42 especially with a higher rate of fire like this but the one's they made back for the war weren't anywhere near close to the mg42 IDK why they couldn't of made a few changes back then to make it more like this one
because U.S. tactics. high rate fire = more bullets = more soldiers = more costs

These ones were air-cooled and designed to be mounted on aircraft since the skies had plenty of rushing air and cold temperatures. Some .30 Cals on aircraft could reach faster firing speeds than the MG-42 could.
