Per celebrar el seu 20è aniversari, Freedom Cry Sound presenta la seva primera producció musical amb Freddie McGregor. El llegendari artista canta BEHIND THE WALL, una cançó produïda per Genius T i Freedom Cry que ja està disponible en una edició exclusiva i limitada en vinil de 7", publicada i distribuïda per Rebelmadiaq Records.
El músic i productor català Genís Trani és el responsable de la producció musical així com de la mescla de la cançó i de la instrumental. Els músics que han participat són: David Goldfine al baix, Pau Dangla a les tecles, Lamont 'Monty' Savoia a la guitarra, Josep Blanes al trombó, Oriol Escolano a la trompeta, Pol Prats al saxo, Roberto Sánchez als coros i el mateix Genís Trani a la programació de la bateria.
El cantant, compositor i productor jamaicà Freddie McGregor és tota una llegenda i un gran referent del gènere, amb una carrera professional plena d'èxits musicals que s'han convertit en tresors immortals. 'El Capità' és una de les superestrelles vives del Reggae, que porta brillant amb constància i omplint el cor i l'ànima del públic arreu del món més de quatre dècades. L'any 2003 va rebre la prestigiosa Ordre de Distinció atorgada pel Govern jamaicà en reconeixement a la seva contribució a la música i a la cultura del país. El 2013 va ser honorat amb el Marcus Garvey Lifetime Achievement Award per l'Institute Of Caribbean Studies.

In the context of his 20th anniversary, Freedom Cry presents his first musical production in cooperation with Freddie McGregor. The legendary artist sings BEHIND THE WALL, a tune produced by Genius T and Freedom Cry already available on a limited vinyl edition (7”), published and distributed by Rebelmadiaq Records.
The catalan musician and producer Genís Trani is responsible of the musical production and also of mixing the song and the instrumental track. The musicians involved are: David Goldfine (bass), Pau Dangla (keyboards), Lamont 'Monty' Savoia (guitar), Josep Blanes (trombone), Oriol Escolano (trumpet), Pol Prats (sax), Roberto Sánchez (backing vocals) and Genís Trani (drums programming).
Jamaican singer, songwriter and producer Freddie McGregor is a living legend and a great mentor with a professional career full of musical hits that have turned into everlasting treasures. 'The Captain' is a Reggae Superstar, who has been constantly shining and filling the heart and the soul of his fans around the World for more than four decades. In 2003 he received the prestigious Order of Distinction awarded by The Jamaican Government in recognition of his contribution to Jamaican Music and Culture’s development. In 2013 he was honored with the Marcus Garvey Lifetime Achievement Award by the Institute Of Caribbean Studies.
