SPEEDEDIT: Scourge The Hedgehog (Sonic Movie Style)
If there’s one thing that I grown to love when revisiting the Archie Sonic Comics, that is the king himself “Scourge The Hedgehog”. My love of the character led me to make a custom figure of him, now I decided to make an edit of him in the style of the Sonic Movies. I know he can’t legally appear because of the infamous Ken Penders, but I had fun making this and wanna know what you guys think.

Yesterday, I finished a sketch I made of Sonic in the style of the Japanese box art, but it wasn’t colored in. So I decided to try my best and replicate it better in IbisPaint X, I used reference from both Classic art and artwork by Patrick Spaziante (Spaz) from the Archie Comics. I never bothered uploading this when I made it back in 2021, due to how burnt out I was when production finished on the Sonic SEGA 2. I decided to mash to Sonic jump sounds together, One from Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and one from the Modern Games. I chose the Sonic 3 one because it sounds better in my opinion. Uh, No, he’s legal, don’t worry. They just don’t want to use him so they don’t have to go through all that trouble again. thanks to Sega being so lenient with Sonic’s copyright is actually easy for people to, “ have their way.” That’s what happened to the Archie comics. Still hoping he comes back one day though. Cool art.

You have to admit that the concept of making a Thomas & Friends movie set on a "Misty Island" was an amazing idea (especially for the series that revolves around trains), however, the end result was simply horrible
