This trip marks the realization of a dream which has been a part of Dan's life since he first heard the tales of his hereditary home in County Galway, Ireland and his ancestral home at Hackett Castle, as a boy.

Sir, you have removed too much background noise. Has ruined the hearing
There is other version of this song in CZcams?
no entiendo gran parte de la letra pero me gusta oír esta canción

There's Thurl raven's croft!!
There's no yellow in the red, white, and blue 👍
Truly an awe-inspiring sight. It's sad to see what are country is turning into, but videos like these remind me of who we once were.
are you still living?
The Woke Types would shit themselves if they made this song today.
Absolutely lol😂

I love all these people on gunsmoke
1:30 four service men: Solider, sailor, airman, Marine. Marines are part of the navy, and at this time, the air force was part of the army, so there are only two services here. The only two we had; the army, and the navy.
Gotta love how in the subtitles “Jap” isn’t mentioned anywhere.
Thin, deep voiced guy (Ravenscroft) did the Tony the Tiger voice! I knew I had heard him before.
American culture at it's finest. Умели же люди делать!
its so catchy

No i mean there's no wars happening bro

Thanks for posting this! I only recently found out that Ken Curtis was a great singer. I only remember him from Gunsmoke.

Never forget the insecurity and fragility of a beast
Indeed, black people do get offended by every little thing now-a-days. You'd think they wouldn't be so insecure and fragile considering their past, yet here we are, haha.
@@HC2671 and white people have a god complex, you never know when to stfu and leave people alone, codependency issues.

That was my brother, Jack Welch singing the solo in Buglar’s Lullabye
"Thumbs up England - we're proud of you! We'll show them there's no yellow in that red, white, and blue." Dang. How could a line that's so clever be so racist? So many layers.
Oh dear, I always thought they meant "no yellow in the red, white, and blue" like they weren't yellowbelly cowards. I never would have caught that double meaning.
@@Tubular_dude_20y_ago I heard this song dozens of times before I caught it. It's an incredibly clever line. In one sentence, they say: "We're on your side now, England, and we agree with everything you're doing. Furthermore, we invoke our historic ties by noting that both of our flags are red, white, and blue. Neither of our flags include yellow, the color of cowardice, and according to the average American from our time, the color of Japanese skin. Therefore, neither will we." It's very clever, but chilling, considering it's a direct foreshadowing of Japanese internment camps.
@@JamesKmosko I don’t think that’s it. They also mention ‘cowardice’ in relation to Japan, and I think that is the double meaning. People were still pretty mad about the ‘cowardly’ sneak attack on Pearl Harbor. You can find racial attitude in wwII propaganda, but I don’t think this is an example. Also, there was some talk in europe about why the us had waited so long to join the fight, so I think that is referenced as well.
The best boys choir ever!
But did they not think that this looked scary 😟
That bar scene with the ladies is scandalous! And I Love it!!

How the nazis react to this song?
This about the pacific campaign so it would be unlikely any german would know/care as at this time they were starting to lose territory to the allies
He was also an Army Officer in WW II what a guy
Better dead than yellow.
Does anyone know why this film is a reversed image?
OK, I don't understand why did they not have a black actress portray Topsy. Was it supposed to be more humorous with a white actress portraying a black person? What was the thinking then in the 1930s?
It was to mock black people, it was meant to be offensive to black people and the was humorous to them.
Who's here after Lend Lease part 2?
I've watched this video several times in 2022 and 2023, so that includes me! Just as my homeland was willing to supply the Allies in 1941, so too are we willing to supply Ukraine today! "We did it before and we can do it again, and we'll do it again!"
Thank you my dear friend R.I.P.
:)
Beautiful ✌️ ✌️
Oh, GOD. Make it STOP.
Shameless. So horribly awful but necessary to see how we acted in the past!
You do not appreciate true talent.
do you see how blacks act now?
And this comes up as Putin invades Ukraine...?
The algorithm made the right choice! The whole war (and particularly Ukraine's self-defense, with the support of the new Lend-Lease) has a "we did it before, we'll do it again!" vibe!
@@Hand-in-Shot_Productions It's sadly ironic that Fascists are dying in Ukraine once again...only this time, the genocidal Fascist invaders who want to exterminate the Ukrainians and render the Ukrainian culture extinct are Russian, rather than German. The battles are being fought in the same cities: Kharkiv, Kyiv, Dnipro . . . .
Phil appeared in a lot of movies and TV shows. He was the "third agent" in the "Born In A Trunk" number in Judy Garland's "A Star Is Born" (1954). After she sings a line of "You Took Advantage of Me" to him, he says, leeringly, "Yes......" *"NO!!!!!!!",* she reacts in horror, scurrying away to find another agent.
