I'm super curious about how you got to third OP being the AH. Absolutely no hate, but the story I perceived doesn't compute with that. To me it's a younger sister who was actively ignored by her older sister her entire life. She describes the sister going out of her way to pretend she doesn't exist. The sister seemingly doesn't talk to her at all, and then out of the blue texts her to accuse her of not actually wanting a child (which, why would she try to if she didn't want one lol?) and of not having the finances for a child. How is that out of concern? She doesn't know her younger sister at all, how would she know whether she wants children or if her finances allow it. The only reason she knows anything is because of the gossipy family. If OP said a bunch of mean things or did awful stuff that would warrant a YTA, but it seems like she's just decided to stop talking to the sister. I may be falling for OPs side of the story, but I only see a sister yearning for connection with someone who doesn't care about her.

First story: OP should stop spending time with his sister. She doesn't seem to love or respect him, considering she dates transphobic dudes. How is not ever mentioning he's trans gonna work for the rest of their life? Especially when he gets pregnant with their next child (which OP mentioned they're trying for). The sister would be better off dating someone who at the very least respects her brother's right to live his life instead of stringing conservatives along hoping they'll be too deep in to break up with her because of her brother (or whatever her strategy is). Oooor she could own up to that she doesn't respect her brother and keep dating transphobes away from him. I may be too harsh on the sister, but why would she even want to date someone that doesn't respect her brother? I don't even have trans family members, but I have trans friends, and if I was dating someone and started getting the vibes that they don't like trans people, I'd bring up the topic and straight up dump them if they're bigots. I wouldn't let someone into my life with those views and I'm kinda concerned the sister is so willing to (and even going so far as to lie to make OP and his husband seem worse).

Last story while confusing I would say NTA because cowboy borderline sexually herassed OP by just randomly kissing them. It's logical that OP would be put off by that, but I hope they would have had the chance to talk it out afterwards.

With story one, I feel like no one is the asshole there, but also kinda everyone is? I mean, yeah she’s grieving and that is TOTALLY valid, but it also kinda feels like she’s forcing her child to not have a father figure. Yes he ex isn’t the baby’s bio dad and no one can replace that, but at the same time she didn’t give any examples of the ex being bad with the kid. We don’t know whether he trained the kid to call him papa without her seeing, but if that isn’t the case and the child did it on her own then I don’t think it was nice of the mom to basically tear them apart. He can be a father figure to the child without replacing the husband. Plenty of people have multiple father or mother figures in their life without replacing anyone. Like OP said, the kid won’t remember the husband/dad, there’s no reason to force the baby to grow up with no father figure to speak of. It’s entirely possible that the baby called him papa and he thought that since the husband was dead then he can be a father figure for the baby, since there wasn’t anyone else. He seems like a cool guy. That being said, we very obviously do not know the full story, and there any be other details we do not know. So yeah, I feel like there’s no assholes or saints in this post. Just humans doing their best in a difficult situation. Everyone could have handled it better. Frankly, it could have been fixed if they just had a discussion instead of the mom carting the baby off to her parents without telling the guy why. How was he supposed to know that she didn’t want him being the kid’s dad if she didn’t tell him? How is she supposed to know his perspective if she doesn’t ask? Just a mess all around.

For that last one, my petty ass is like "Just start telling her you need to check in with your baby if he'll need adult supervision if you stay out longer/go out on x day and (shocker) he does (bc he's a baby) and then ask him to hand the phone to his dad so you can ask if his dad is available or if you'll need to arrange for someone else." I feel like for the wedding post, we just don't have enough information. I feel like the real question of whether or not OP is the AH comes down to why the relationship is rocky. I get why someone who's been a parental figure since OP was 9-years-old would feel hurt over still not being treated as a parent, especially if they've been trying to connect for years. But like, I could also see OP having legitimate reasons to never connect with her. Especially if its always been "we need to connect the way I (stepmom) want us to connect".
