We only title as a Silverado for search reason on CZcams. We are fully aware the difference of a Sierra and Silverado, as this isn't our first truck we have done. where can i find the diagram for the cluster wiring on the ls swap?
Are the fan/fan clutch just the stock one from the 97 Tahoe? Would like to do this set up on my truck, thanks!
It's the fan/clutch from the LS engine.
What about the park, reverse, neutral, and drive indicators on the dakota digital dash is there one on it anywhere how do you know if your in the wright position with the shifter ?
Add this module, and will now come in the gauges "message center". azproperformance.com/products/dakota-digital-gear-shift-indicator-unit?_pos=1&_sid=ab5700727&_ss=r
Where did you get the fan shroud from?
It’s the factory shroud.
Dude just hacks the wire harness out….. 🥴
Yes sir, separated all original motor harness out, only leaving what was needed. Then re-loomed it all. Just because wires were cut, doesn’t mean it’s hacked. 👍
Does it bottom out ?
Using the BellTech notch on a 7" drop, it can bottom out at times on large bumps. However, we have developed an under bed step notch to help with this a lot and add 2" additional travel. We also combine that with a drop kit too or available by itself. azproperformance.com/products/pro-performance-ultimate-drop-kit-88-98-c1500?_pos=1&_sid=5dd626284&_ss=r azproperformance.com/products/react-c-notch-88-98-c1500?_pos=1&_sid=28962dec8&_ss=r
Same caliper same brake power
Incorrect sir. The larger rotor offers better leverage and increases stopping power. It’s been tested and Baer has been doing brakes systems for over 25 years, they do know a thing or two. 👍
Incorrect. Brake torque = the force applied by the caliper multiplied by the radius where the force is applied. An increase in radius will increase brake torque.
Will this same kit work on my 93' 2 door yukon?
Thanks for sharing. You made is easy to understand the process. Take Care!!!
I guess this was brought up alot and your probably tired of hearing it but the music definitely washed out alot of your voice. Not sure how much a good mic system would be but might be something worth looking into. Other then the washout great how to video🤙👍
The link to the kit isnt working is it still available?
We are currently revising and will re-release here shortly.
React no longer sells this kit.
I didn’t see any mention of a c-notch, did it ever bottom out? Looking to do the same but was wondering if I should order the c-notch at the same time.
Should I got ls1 or ls3
Ls1 cheaper
So I’m wanting to ls swap an xj and I’m kinda on a budget, can I just use the stock xj radiator, as long as I get the steam port hooked up
What intake pipe is that?
What’s the real life instal time on this kit?
390 is what….525 crank???
Thats pretty badass.....it looks awesome
Are there any kits that I can just throw in without doing this?
Did you use any shims in the front for alignment on a single cab 96 gmc on 5 inch drop
no link to the product... so unprofessional.
I hear ya... it can be difficult to get to our website via a google search of Pro Performance, or call us with the number provided in the video.
@@AZProPerformance i can use the same garbage response right back at ya, and say that its soooo hard to add a link to the video description like everyone else? its only been a feature on youtube for over a decade. lost a subscriber and a customer.
Have 2000 chevy express 1500 what do u recommend
Remake this without the voice canceling noises? Impossible to follow the Important things you are saying and thank you
Is there a number I can reach out to y’all
Could have left it the way it was and it's still PERFECTION. Every man would agree.
So...cutting this shit out of the Frame & Bed.....is the Right way2 do it huh ?? Guess what....ill jus do mine, my way, which doesn't involve cutting. 🤡
Very informative video. Consider adding light so everything is easier seen. It’s dark under there!
did you move the transmission crossmember? New drive shafts?
How much did you spend on everything
Price wise are they comparable to the QA 1 which Ive always used BTW
They still need experience I would did everything with out removeing the bed
Yeah, we don’t know much about trucks, you caught us. 😂 Why work harder, when we can work smarter being we have the means to easily remove the bed. If we need any tips or tricks, I’ll be sure to reach out to you. 😉
How much does this setup cost?
Im officially inspired to do my 99 suburban LS cause 5.7 factory died at 253,000 miles
What series flowmaster?
Whats a good lowering kit without a c notch for a 96 4dr tahoe 2wd
Belltech, and can get it right from us. azproperformance.com/products/belltech-3-4-drop-kit-95-99-tahoe-4-door-2wd-792?_pos=3&_sid=d895bf818&_ss=r
Can you give a cost breakdown for this swap? I just finished a first gen Sonoma 6.0/4l60e swap and it went way over budget. I've got a 91 SS454 clone that is getting a 6.0 swap as well. Your Tahoe swap is exactly what I'm after for my 91
Nice! I don't have a complete and detailed breakdown of this particular swap, but typically they run about 18k (parts) when all said and done, with rebuilt engine and trans, front drive, custom radiator hoses, intake, etc. The Tahoe now has a different radiator, hoses, and intake.
@@AZProPerformance oh damn, I was doing a junkyard motor and trans with the OE harness.
@@timothyryan2847 That's a good setup and what I did on the Tahoe. Definitely ways to do cheaper, but like anything, there is 20 different ways to LS swap a OBS.
Were you located I wanna build my dream truck just like that..
We’re in Mesa, AZ
Imagine if you put a equal length Vette style exhaust on it!
Those wheels look perfect. Where did you get them?
Thanks! We sell them.
Do you recommend anyone in the Arkansas, Mississippi, or Tennessee area that can install the dash?
Does the dirty dingo mounts work on the 4x4 application?
Chingon 👏👏👏👏👏👏🫡
Im sorry but unless you upgrade to the bigger style calipers or bigger calipers in general I see no point. Its just bigger rotors but same contact space with the stock calipers/ pads I feel like there would be no difference in performance
It has to do with the leverage, and why it improves braking. I’ve done many of these and can feel the difference. It has proven results, as Baer has been making these kits for many years.
Love those rims and shes perfectly lowered!! I've been debating on redoing the lowering kit on my truck and this just sold me
I would like to drop my 1988 C1500 off and call ne when it's ready to rip up the asphalt. I have owned it since new
Thank you for content now I know what direction I’m going with my 2000 Cadillac Escalade
I got a 94 yukon gt and wanna swap the full engine and drive train out an 05 awd escalade with a 6.0 and 4l80 trans im debating on if I should keep the stock transfer case so I cam still utilize my 4 high and 4 low range or would it be better to go full awd conversion. just looking for ideas
The noise is irritating
Can we please get a cost breakdown of this? We all watch these for informational purposes however without costs it’s more of a plug
