Great info! Thanks for the video. Can you tell me the dimensions of the closet and shelves in the closet and also the length of the wall light?
Really great advice :,))) Love it!!!!

A great recap & reflection of the postgrad experience 🥹 inspired me to do some reflection of my own
hes a real adult 🥲 jokes aside i can relate to so much of this as a grad student ive had to be so much more intentional about rediscovering my hobbies!!!

this was so inspirational justin thank you!
Love this!! Coming up on a year post-grad myself, I’ve been trying to develop my hobbies as well 🥳
The worst thing is… EasyBib wasn’t like that they first started. It was completely free until Chegg acquired it.
Appreciate presentation
how is Acad , internship & placement opportunities after MS in Mgt Science ? Is 9 month course worth its money?
I love the deep dive. I can't wait for the Netflix documentary to come out.
The video is very helpful!! Thanks
Did you get your offer in February or March?
i know this is two years late but today is the day before the BU deadline and i feel so much stress and anxiety because i know with my gpa i dont have a strong chance of getting in. this video found me at just the right time and even though it is a leap of faith, BU is a school i am highly interested in and i want to take the risk. thank you so much for your message, you seem like such a genuine person!
Did you get in? I know that decisions just recently came out for ED2.
Thank you so much for this! Super helpful
Thank you so much for putting all of this valid and vital information together for me. I am motivated and I hope to be in BU by next year. Thanks alot.
So chill and so cool! 😄 Thank you for being honest and straight to the point!
Thanks for your helpful video!
link ethernet cable please 🙃 i’ve never used an ethernet cable and have no idea which one is compatible to my mac or how it even works…
Just committed to BU SOT this morning- I’m so excited!!
Also, Ik you said it can be difficult at first to make friends at BU or any college lol but are there any spots around campus or common ways in which to interact with people to find people with similar interests?
So this is a good question cuz so much has changed in my life since I made this video two years ago! By far imo the best way to make friends is through student orgs. 90% of my close friends were people I met when I joined clubs. Naturally when u join a club many ppl will have the same interests and/or goals as you do. You can also make friends in classes, of course! I wouldn't say there's any physical location on campus where people go to make friends besides maybe freshman dorms.
I got into the college of engineering at BU and am like 90% sure I’m going, this video was really informative and I feel like I have a lot of the same opinions as you in what I would like in a college, but I was wondering, how are office hours at BU and outside help from teachers?
I can only speak for the experiences I've had, but the professors I've had are extremely accessible and I try to go to office hours frequently! It's a great way to get help while also getting to know your profs (and having them get to know you). That being said I don't know how office hours compare to other schools, and it also really depends on the professor. At a minimum, BU requires instructors to hold office hours and TAs also hold office hours for additional support.
What’s your favorite program for leisure that Boston University offers?
When will new academics start bro. I am from India 🇮🇳. I want to pursue my masters from BU. Help please man
super nice vid dude :D thanks
Not sure what I want to study. If I apply to college of arts and science but decide I want to transfer to Questrom, is that possible? Is it difficult to transfer?
Hi, anyone joining BU in Jan '22 ..?
As of just a few days ago, the Boston University application has been submitted! Now I wait...
applied in October, and get my decision round dec 15, and im scared to death
Did you get your decision? I just submitted my application (regular decision).
@@ethanstechworld207 yeah i got deffered to rd, so more waiting 😭
@@princebrandon9679 Ah bummer! The good news is you didn't get straight up denied. Best wishes moving forward!
How’s college transfers my gpa isn’t the best I have a 3.5 gpa do I have a shot ? I really want to attend 🥺
Stem classes are weeder classes!! 😱😱😱😱
Yo thanks for the video! It was super helpful for me to learn more about a student's opinion of BU as I'm currently working on my essay for early decision! I reeeally hope I get in 🙏
From my own list of factors for my college decision BU hits everything, academic rigor, urban, premed, diverse. Only thing I’m worried about is tuition, is it bad cause it seems to be a lot of money. Will the financial aid, scholarships save me😩
Hey Daniel! I can't speak to how much financial aid you individually will receive, but I would reach out to BU's financial aid office (www.bu.edu/finaid/) for a more accurate look! There should also be a cost of attendance calculator somewhere on the BU website too. Apply before the scholarship deadline if you are interested in that!
Hi! I really like your video which is very helpful for me. I really wanna apply ED to BU, but I'm worried about the fee. What's the average living cost for students each months? I'm an international students so that I can't get financial aid. And wondering whether I can choose courses interested me without restriction. I may major in Math or something else only but I want to have Narrative Radio courses.
Here's BU's official cost of attendance page: www.bu.edu/finaid/aid-basics/cost-of-attendance/undergraduate/ You can pretty freely choose to take classes in other majors/fields of study, so long as you complete the prerequisite classes for the class! I've enjoyed the privilege of taking classes in 4 different schools at BU. Hope this helps!
@@justinqytang Thank you!!
I just watched through this video and it was really helpful :) BU is my dream school and I'm thinking of putting it for early decision. I'm planning to major in Education at the Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. I have had experiences with tutoring and volunteering as a teacher. However my GPA is quite low.. (3.57 unweighted 4.03 weighted), how are my chances looking? Do you have any tips for me? Thank you!
I can't personally tell you how your chances are because I'm not an admissions counselor, and a lot of both circumstance and luck go into an admissions decision. Put your all into your application essays and make sure that you are representing your best self! You got this!
are you an international student?
@@daivyashah4555 No, I’m a domestic student living in CA
@@cchy cool cool. I am an international student im planning on applying to either NYU or BU for ED. I'm just scared about the fact that I'm going test optional. My sat exams got cancelled due to covid and I really hope they don't consider it.Have you given SAT by any chance?
Will you get penalized for not submitting your SAT’s? I’m hearing a mix. I’m a current senior.
hey gloria! this is a question i would ask bu admissions directly, but as far as i know, it won't hurt you to not submit your SAT. however, when i was applying to college, my counselor always told me that it never hurts to submit test scores (SATs, ACTS, APs, etc.). schools always look at your GPA and school grades first before considering standardized tests. that being said, i know SATs aren't required to be submitted anymore so if you don't like your score, don't feel obligated to submit it!
Hi Justin! Thanks so much for this video. This years application year was so tough and BU was one of the only schools that actually wanted me (I know awkward…). This really helped BU seem a little more realistic! See you there in September! (CLASS OF 2025 whoop)
hey morgan! no shame in that at all, bu's a great school! glad i could help :)
Justin - thanks for the videos. Can you tell me about the laundry? Should I buy my own detergent? If so, are pods ok? Is detergent available for purchase?
hi! laundry can be paid for by convenience points (you use your bu id card like a debit card) or with quarters. i believe it's about 1.75 per cycle. bring your own high efficiency detergent! i used tide pods and they work fine. you can buy detergent at the city convenience stores on campus but i'd recommend just going to target or amazon cuz it's cheaper
Where did you get bed risers ? What height did you get ?
I got these on Amazon: www.amazon.com/Utopia-Bedding-Premium-Adjustable-Furniture/dp/B073WFCV1L/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=bed+risers&qid=1625146111&sr=8-5 I don't remember what height they were but these were adjustable depending on how much stuff you want to store under the bed. Hope this helps!
@@justinqytang thank you my son is going there this year
excellent video - thank you as always! BU is my dream school, but we'll see if I get in (only a sophomore in high school..haha)!
I hope you get in! It was my dream school too, you can do it!!!
Loved this tour - thanks for sharing as always! :)
absolutely excellent video! I want to attend a college or university in Boston and BU is definitely a top choice, but just curious - was it hard for you to get into BU? some say it's hard, and some say it was a piece of cake, and I completely understand that it does depend on extracurriculars, etc as well!
hey luke, that's a really tough question to answer. i know it's cliche, but do your best in school and extracurriculars etc., work hard, and it'll pay off!
are there any roaches or mice? I REALLY hope not.
hey jack, good question! living in warren i never had any experiences with roaches or mice but that's not to say that other people haven't had those experiences. both are pretty much inevitable if you live in an old city like boston for a few years, though. i live off campus now and had a rat problem for a bit this year (but got it sorted out pretty quickly).
thank you for this!! i’m committing to BU this year and this was really helpful
congrats on committing!
Thank you so much for this!
