How to decide the line and which part should i scribe? I don't understand how to make it looks better by scribing 😢

I'm trying to make side parts for the Core Gundam II to add extra side skirts and extra parts to clip on the skirts. Ray Studios gave me the idea but how to make the best parts to stay on is tricky. I wonder if you know how to make such parts or find the gunpla models that can clip them together that would be very helpful for a builder starting out custom gunpla build

Just recently bought a set of Ansai Chisels of ebay, a 6 pack of .2, .3, .4, .6, .8,. 1.0mm for around $60 USA. Compared to the cheap set i had, so much nicer.

Risky but good reward

I've tried this earlier tonight, but when I was sanding after cementing the plaplate and part together, I notice there were gapa at where the two things meet. Is there a workaround for this? I don't think I could separate the plaplate now w/o damaging the part
