I've always said, youre taking a poll from people who are already depressed BECAUSE of their acne. The sample group is a flawed group to begin with. I will say the same for suci**** ideology. This is a group of people already feeling hopeless. Its always a good idea to monitor your mental health so thats not a bad thing but not taking the medication out of fear IS A BAD IDEA. I didn't suffer as a young person with acne and in fact it probably wasnt until i was 19 before it started. I had painful acne on my face chest shoulders and back. I was away at college in a large city I wasn't familiar with. I was so depressed. I walked around the city aimlessly at night wanted to kill myself. My self esteem was gone and i just wanted to escape which lead to addiction. Accutane SAVED MY LIFE. I had a bloody nose maybe two times and of course dry skin and chapped lips BUT I haven't had a pimple in 30 years. I had no lasting side effects. I didnt lose my hair (thats a big fear for young men) I'm not here saying that there are no serious side effects - im just here to say that wasnt my experience.
