Can we plz stop with the stupid catch phrases; 3d disinfection and 3d obturation...since when has been irrigation and obturation 3d and before that only 2d....

fishribbon because it is just bullshit! An obturation is always 3d, we don't live in a 2d world. Besides filling lateral canals doesn't say shit in 99% of cases, cause what you have is only sealer with dentin debris and bacterial biofilm as Riccuci showed us in his histological study!

logan cooner Don't take my word for it. More than a few videos by dentists are right on CZcams to review. There is no such thing as a sterile tooth. Microtubuals and accessory canals are breeding grounds for bacteria. Some are worse than others, but all root-canal teeth have the potential to expose the patient to dangerous anaerobic bacterial toxins. Most of the contradictory "research" is conducted under the auspices of those with a financial incentive to continue this use of this dangerous procedure.
Ya, I'm with Logan here...I'll take peer reviewed literature over youtube videos any day! And yes Indrid you are describing endodontic failure...that very scenario is what endodontics prevents!
