Looks like hell without some kind of finder. Man just put something on there. They look to chest heavy with nothing on there the rest of it looks good but ugggg no back just looks trailer park! Hahah
I have a 2016 Rebel 250. I also have a 2006 Sportster 1200L. I tried a Ninja 250 (the original Ninja 250, I think it was an '04 model) and it was HORRIBLE. The seat was too high, the handlebars felt like they were attached to the ends of the front axle, the pegs were about where the rear turn signals should be. It was miserably uncomfortable. Downright painful. And virtually unrideable in stop and go city traffic. It took a lot of effort to get my feet off those pegs. They were so far back my toes were pointed straight down. I almost dropped it a couple of times trying to get my feet off those awful pegs at a stop. Then you are sitting there at a light, all hunched over, all of your upper body weight on your wrists and shoulders, your neck bent back as far as it would go so you could see ahead. It felt like standing up looking up at the sky. The pain was unbearable. It was twitchy and hard to control at slow speeds. It felt so good to get rid of that abomination.
are you sure that was a ninja 250? I'm asking because that doesn't sound right to me. The footpegs should have been almost directly under your butt. The handles bars are a bit low but you shouldn't have been putting your weight on them if you were in the correct riding posiition. That sounds more like a pure bred sport bike by the way you describe it. The passenger foot pegs would be really far back and high like that though. Mine was always smooth and never felt twitchy. Not being a jerk, I promise, I just really wanna figure out what was up with what you had.
Yeah I feel u bro plus with all these views we get lol youtube shorts gets views but I think it's mostly Bots that subscribe then your reg vids get less views then shorts idk man thanks for gettin out there 💪🏼💯💨💨💨💨
Yeah, it’s never had been about the views or subs for me. Probably a good thing because most of my videos have never done too great. It’s just a fun hobby to go along with riding the bikes. I’ve always enjoyed tinkering with cameras and stuff as well.
@sumdawgtwigg thanks jimbo we'll get to the top I always root for the underdog anyway 💪🏼💯
Good cruizin boss hey do u still think the x22 is a good bike I have one on layaway as we speak 💪🏼💯💨💨
It was a good running bike when I had it. I literally just was just bored with it really quickly. I think if it was the only bike I had, then I would have really enjoyed it more. I don't think you'll regret it as long as you do the PDI and check everything before riding it alot.
@sumdawgtwigg def thanks for the info I'm gonna throw a bigger motor eventually just want a Lil summer cruizer that I can have legit and tagged
You have awsome taste
Coolest looking commuter bikes ever! All of my riding is city and suburban (and traffic here barely breaks 40 Mph anyway, LOL) And It's a Honda. Zippo lighter reliable (and almost as mechanically simple). 10/10 I love Rebels!
I gave you a follow just to support a fellow jimbo. As I am also one of the jimbos also own a chom
Timing! The guy should drop the price drastically.
I suggest a $8 front 17tooth sprocket
This game was pretty dope tbh
If I had the choice between this Vader or a 125cc street legal pit bike, What should I get? I really want a supermoto but the Vader seems more of a mini street bike. Your thoughts?
Sooooooo, whatever happened to your tx500 Cafe racer project?
Nice looking roads
Trying to figure out what is going wrong here. First start and my vader idles really high. Tuning screws do nothing at all. Throttle cable looks okay. You got any ideas?
Guess you never got it to run?
Just bought mine (2nd gen) only issue I had was evap issue. So I drilled a very very small hole in the gas cap just to help it a bit. No issues since . Absolutely love this bike . Perfect for a starter bike.
I subscribe your channel so i can see all the details you made, i just got mine too and not started the process of restoring the bike
Sir may i know what size of spark plug use for this tx500 i need to buy the spark plug remover tools, i hope you will reply my comment
Ho sir i hope you can help me running back my project same this bike, i am going tp watch all you video s
Is this first gen.. an is it stock
Yes and it’s not stock anymore but was in this video.
Great!
thanks! Another person commented and said there is a key behind the plate. So, just a heads up.
So I'm having trouble le. I have this same bike and I can out it to firs but neutral doesn't catch. What can be the problem? Luke it's hard to catch neutral
I had the same trouble for awhile until i broke it in with some miles. It's a true pain in the ass when they are new though. Just be patient and give it time.
@@sumdawgtwigg thanks man, i appreciate that alot. I'm getting the hang of it. But I hear you can swap out the shifter with either a grom or klx.. ima give it a little but still ordering one. Ima look into it. Thanks a bunch my man
Hey man. Got the video for your dad finished and uploaded. I would put a link on here, but it will probably put it in your spam folder, so, just come on over to the channel and you'll see it right on the front page. Thanks for the request brother, and once again so sorry about your dad.
You did an amazing job and I really appreciate it! Truly!
@@sumdawgtwigg It was the least I could do brother. I just hope it helps with the loss. Thanks so much for the request and the awesome comment.
How’s it holding up?
it's doing great! Still no issues.
Project bike time! Bring on them random views 5 years from now with people asking questions lol!
Hey man, what's up. I saw your comment on one of my videos about your dad passing, and how he loved A Thousand Miles From Nowhere, and I just had to record it for you. So, it should be done in a few days, and I was just wondering if you would like me to put your father's name on the dedication. It's fine if you don't, I totally understand if you want it to remain private. I just thought I'd offer. The loss of a father is terrible, and I can't imagine how hard it must be.
That would be amazing! Thank you so Much! His name is “James “Jim” Lane”
@@sumdawgtwigg No problem man. I should have it out in about a week. Thanks for the request, and once again, so sorry for your loss brother.
How's it running now???
Just fine!
Tienes una moto muy linda, yo también dirijo una rebelde 1986 ☺️
Can a 250 engine be put in this
There is a key release behind the license plate. No need for removal of any screws
good to know! thanks for pointing it out!
Whale 🐋 tale ugly
Is there anyway you can get a pic of the air/fuel adjustments screw? I think I'm doing it wrong. Thanks.
Look for grom clone carburetor adjustment on CZcams if you haven’t fixed it yet.
Getting my first just waiting to be delivered in the next few days have a question wht kind of oil do you use .. don’t wanna use the oil tht was shipped in it .. wht do u recommend .. thanks
Always used Lucas oil
@@sumdawgtwigg ok thanks is there a link u can send me .. I don’t knw what kind of Lucas oil
I like the boom. All plastics for Honda Grom will fit and you can always upgrade to zs190 engine.
your voice is HARD to hear and then the music comes on BLASTING. good video other then that
Best regards from KRAUL-l-🤟🤟 666
Did you have any issues with the bike dying while riding? Popping that gas cap off seems to allow mine to re-start for 3 miles or so. Wondering if my tank vent is blocked or if it’s not vented at all...
Check all your lines and make sure they aren't kinked. No I didn't have any issues but I know some did.
Thanks. I bypassed the evaporation canister. That seems to be faulty.
No talking? I was looking forward to hearing you and Justin bantering
I know! I was kinda sad I didn't get any tbh. Just didn't think of it.
I'd like to see the entire trip in real time please 😆
Oh Lord 😂
Got one similar- found a loose battery connection- goes like spit! but a bit bigger than I am used to ":) ps could be frost patches on that road!
In my opinion a used street and trail bike would be a better buy!
I can see your point for sure but it would be hard, at least in my area, to find one even close to the price I paid for this.
awesome video thank you man
Man id love to have one of these as a second bike. Or even a the Vader 125 like you got. When I got my 05 Hayabusa my wife wanted to kill me before hand but she’s cool with it now lol. I really like the paint scheme on yours too!
yeah man, it's a great bike. Simple and easy to work on.
bjork
Hi just wondering if you still have the bike? The motor swap is a 190cc or the 212cc z's direct swap out for all the clone bikes. It Would be cool to see . I was looking for a video on CZcams with this done bet there not any one I can find that done this yet. Your top speed would be about 80 maybe even faster after motor brake in and upgrades.👍✌️😎👍
Guys I'm only 5 foot 100 pounds is it to big for me?
I'm going to say yes..I'm 5'9'' and I could barley flat foot it. It's a very tall bike.
@@sumdawgtwigg thank you I think I'm gonna get a kawasaki ninja 250
jessie reyez
Does anyone know where to get the chain tensioner/adjuster?!!!
Negative man. I know there is a website that sells a bunch of parts but I can't think of it off the top of my head. I'll try and find it.
How do you like this bike?
Honestly for the price you are better off buying a used ninja 250
