Yet, I could not relay to someone the damaging effects of smoking or the catastrophic effects alcohol can have on one's life by simply praising and extoling how refreshing a deep breath of fresh air feels or how wonderful a nice drink of cold water is! Dr. Stanley Bordes, it is clear that you don’t have an understanding of the doctrine in regards to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You quote scriptures with absolutely no context and it shows that you are simply parroting from that book, without actually understanding what they are saying. Every claim found in Mormonism is Biblically sound, but you wouldn’t know that since the workbook you are going through doesn’t actually teach you the doctrine. All it teaches you is an almost comically bad version of what the beliefs of the Mormons are. I am saddened that you are willing to rely on the arm of flesh in your knowledge of these things, instead of relying on the true source of truth and wisdom, God. May you continue to find peace and truth in your mortal journey here on earth.

1 Timothy 1:1 shows how God, the Father of you and I and Jesus is called Savior. Jesus is out hope. Why is God Jehovah called Savior? Because he sent His Son to come to earth. He made a body for him. Jesus offered that body and blood as a sacrifice that pays for mankind sins. One man, all people’s sins. This makes Jesus our savior and in no other man can we or could we put trust to take away sun and death. Is Jesus Savior because he is God? No Acts 5:31 “God exalted this one as Chief Agent and Savior to his right hand, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.” God Jehovah exalted Jesus to be savior and the chief agent of life. Jesus is Savior not because he is God, but because he did God’s will for him. Because by faith in his God, he laid down his perfect life for you and I.

That is a good question in your video, the one which says "Who do they say that I am" they said, "John the baptist or Elijah. When Jesus asked this question to his disciple, he said "who do YOU say I am" none of them said "You are God " but rather they said you are the son of God .........I think that some people get confused about God because Jesus said "all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me " So the question is WHO gave this authority to Jesus ? So God has entrusted HIS SON to bring judgement to this earth and has appointed his son to judge the earth, and so Jesus figures so much in the outworking of God's plan that people often this Jesus is God, but this is not the case, and to prove this I am going to show you one chapter out of many in the Bible which proves Jesus is not God. Take a look at 1 Cor 15; and Vs 24 to begin with which says: Next, the end, when he hands over the Kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power. For he must rule as king until God has put all enemies under his feet. QUESTION: So WHO does Jesus hand over the kingdom too ? WHO puts all enemies under his feet ? Now Vs 28-7-28 which says For God “subjected all things under his feet.”But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that this does not include the One who subjected all things to him.28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone. QUESTION: WHO does the son subject himself to ? Does it look like Jesus is God here, considering God does NOT have a God himself ?
