no your not too old i am 55 i had a Pulmonary embolism in September the doctors told me most don't survive ones as bad as the one i had. been to one festival in my lil blue van going to download festival in few days time. live life like ever day your is last it can come to a stop so fast one standing by my door step the next am on the floor wondering what happened then in back of the ambulance i was making plans to turn in to a camper

We use strong peppermint oil to ward off those bugs that love to bite and sting. Living in northern Wisconsin USA we have tons of the bugs.

Great video. I went off tea over 45 years ago when i was pregnant with my eldest son. I can't drink it without heaving. I did try mint tea but I didn't like it, I don't mind lemon tea though. X x

Have you tried Avon Skin So Soft as a bug repelent ? Used by the troops (apparently) in lieu of the official gunge.

Hi guys, Tiger Balm is good for bites, takes the itch away. You said about Marmite, when my kids were young, my daughter lived on marmite sandwiches, but my son hated it! We went to Malta and had a mosquito in the room, my daughter had one bite on her face, my son had 19 no exaggeration, on his face & ears. It was awful, so maybe there is some truth in it! To keep the midges at bay, use Avon Skin So Soft bath oil. Just apply it like a lotion to your skin. You will love the smell and the midges will stay away. And contrary to what you might read elsewhere, it will not keep mozzies away. You have to have something else to banish them.

If you are in a Spanish National Park what on Earth are you doing flying a drone? As a traveller and somebody who holds a permit to fly drones in the EU you must surely know the basics of where you are allowed to or are forbidden to fly.

If you can get any Avon stuff try "Skin So Soft" midges hate it...and it does work, in your van for keeping flies out put some sprigs of mint.

Peppermint oil is the best bug repellent but there is a blend of essential oil called TerraShield contains Citronella, Lemongrass, Thyme, Cedarwood, Geranium, and Peppermint essential oils in a sesame seed base can use this as a repellent spray, there plenty others with slight different essential oils mixtures but get one that has peppermint ❤️

Midges are very important for feeding the birds, especially swifts, house martins, swallows and some bats, so although annoying to humans they serve a purpose in the ecosystem , love little Dizzy he's just like my dog Dottie they could be related, and I sympathise with Nick as I am always being bitten by mosquitos.

Vapour rub on temples, wrist and ankles deters bug bites but if you get bit, dunk a metal spoon in boiling water quickly then put on bite, eases the irritation 😊

Apparently Vit B1 helps against Mozzies. I take a B complex anyway. I’ve been using a deet free spray too. In Bali they had the spiral 🌀 incense burners which you place under tables when eating but no good for doggies. Speaking of dogs, in Crete animal welfare isn’t great. I saw a poor dog in a cage, and after days of ruminating over what to do I created a care package for her, in particular a blue and yellow Donald Duck toy because I remembered what you said about dogs seeing those colours. I also added treats and a blanket. Gave it to the ‘owner’. I wrote and copied a letter from Google translate slowly!! lol using the Greek alphabet and included that. I did point out the Greek law which is trying to stop passive and active abuse of animals. But made it friendly. Police may not have done anything anyway. My deed for the day. ❤

We’re in Crete on holiday. Ryan’s mozzie bites have turned bad. Have to slather on the histamine. We’re not coping with the heat either. Typical eh. You come away then hide. 🙈 😂

Here in Australia, as you guys know, bugs are out to getcha. Other than DEET repellent made by Bushmans, which would be no good anywhere near Charlie, you can make up your own repellent with about 65-75% oil of your choice, 25% antiseptic lotion of your choice, and the remainder as pure teatree oil, lemon myrtle oil or eucalyptus oil. If you can't get either of those, pure lavender or patchouli oil may work. Depends on what you like the smell of, I guess, but don't use a disinfestant that's fragrance clashes with the smell of the 3rd ingredient. Mix them up in a clean, recycled bottle. Love your bleachedwear, by the way. To reheat your lasagne, etc. place in sealed container on roof of your vehicle, or oany metal surface in the sun. Or, if you're driving, wrapped in foil in your vehicle's engine compartment (not on battery, of course!)
