Why do Orangutans have to bathe anyway?
I'm not exactly sure why the bathing they do it everyday why I get the diaper but they don't bathe them every time they change it honestly I think it's more for the humans because they smell and seriously who the fuck gives a bath like she is putting tiny splashes on her just let her be done they got their fucking pictures shes like dancing with her hands like she doesn't understand the baby is screaming bloody murder and getting angry what kind of rescue puts babies through more trauma for an extended time she wasn't even bathing her no soap just doing shit to make her scream its really hard to believe the organization seriously thought it was smart to post that video like everyone would be like how adorable so nice for her listen to them all laughing. Honestly people are just getting dumber
Какой трогательный малыш ❤
Probablemente el agua está fría. Vi en otro documental que los bañaban con agua tibia porque a ellos no les gusta el agua fría, como a los humanos.
Orang Utans gehen niemals ins Wasser
Que macaco escandaloso, não sei como aguentam esses gritos
😂
Y is this such a "camera" moment?! 📷 clickn like TMZ done caught DIDDY & BEIBER out somewhere 😂 y is 5his so shocking and photo worthy locally!?
He is not having it!
This poor woman. These tourists sound annoying.
Can’t you hold baby to your chest and stand in shower? That makes sense to me
Надоже таким гадким родится!
Must be one stinky orangutan 😮

Good job surrogate mom. Looks like a lot of work.
This is a no win situation.
Maravilhoso 💕💕😍
I think he’s had enough of that water 🚿 !😂😂
Morde essa mulher
This is not the way to wash a baby orangutan just so you can take pictures of it. Can't you tell from the screaming she doesn't like
I have seen Orangoutan rescue centres in Borneo and THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM !!! They don't have cheap facilities like this, plus ALL employees wear an uniform !!! Another case of ANIMAL ABUSE!!! If you are a center like you claim to be, show us your permits, your entire facility, employees, enclosure...
This video was filmed at the Orangutan Care Center and Quarantine facility when I visited it in 2011. You can read about it here orangutan.org/occq/
@@GrahamRacher my most sincere apology...I'm a big fan and contributor of the "Nyaru Menteng orangutan rescue and rehabilitation center" and upon looking at your video I felt that it looked light years away from the one I support, maybe it's the facility and the uniforms they wear that makes them look so different from your center. I felt that it looked like a woman bathing a primate in her garage or something. Again, I sincerely apologize, a thousand excuses, I'm truly sorry, I hope you forgive me and my very protective reaction. Take care
There are some of rehabilitation center in Borneo this one is in Tanjung Puting National Park. Its OFI and the founder is Birute Galdikas.
She is so upset you need 2 people to keep her in place until she or he washed
Or how about don't bath her? They don't get bathed in the wild.
Leave her alone idiots
@@TylerD288 I’m pretty sure it’s necessary to bathe them because they’re much more prone to skin infections/issue when living in captivity. It’s likely the bath water is also mixed with vegetable oil to help their skin.
Why are so many babies crying in the back ground??????
Branding the new ones
@@Mrastrodman 😢
It appears to be a rescue facility.
Crying because they're also getting a bath.
its so cuteeeeee
The perfect job doesn’t ex…….omg…❤❤❤❤❤❤
It seems that the caregiver Is doing the bath, not baby orangutan.
Horrible profile, such hideous critter I cant
So adorable 🎉🎉
The water is probably cold.
I suppose in the wild they would be taking showers after a nice steam bath.
I agree with the water being too cold for it. The baby orangutans and monkeys are more receptive to bathing when the water is warmed . Before someone comments: “But it’s hot over there and the water is never very cold” , that’s not true! I live in a state that’s often a 3 digit temp in the Summer and the well water comes out of the ground around 55 to 65 degrees Fahrenheit! That’s not warm here and if I were overheated and sweating profusely, I’m still not going to jump in a bathtub if the water’s not warmed up a little!
Good video sister plz spot me sister ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Bless it. Its throwing a temper tamtrum. Its not happy about bath time.
climber not swimmer
He was like, nope!
Peut être qu'une douche hors de la bassine serait plus facile puisqu'il n'est accroché qu'il n'y met quasiment pas les pieds et s'accroche autour.
Mtg and trump play time
the hate on that womans face! she wishes she could drown the poor baby
Poor things. They're instinctively afraid of water because orangutans are notoriously bad swimmers and drown very easily. Their instinct is to cling to the caretaker but the caretaker must remove them to clean them. It's difficult listening to their cries and whimpers - this whole experience must be very confusing for the babies. I know the caretakers are doing the best for these babies though.
Also, they really don’t need bathes. It washes away skin oil that keeps their skin healthy. You wouldn’t see mother bathing them in the wild
Right shes doing her best sprinkling water over and over on him no soap not even washing him because that's helpful if this looks like how you clean yourself or an animal quickly and effectively id have questions and concerns. You couldn't have possibly thought one hand pouring water over the same spot was getting any dirt or smell and honestly who do you think the bath is really for they don't bathe them everytime they change their diapers if she was doing her best she wouldn't have been pulling his hands straight up and making them wave around in the air while he continued to scream he very obviously wasn't going to suddenly think it was fun and stop crying but she kept right on doing it because some people are dumb and think nothing of the crying and screaming and just think he looks so cute with his arms dancing
damn, human, i was born to climb not to swim!!!!
Words THANKYOU never enough for those who care and love them ,❤
"Right turn, Clyde."
Why doesnt the carer talk to him?
